@WordSaladWCheez @TheKingAdRob @LilahSturges You're assuming that disincarnate souls are locked into a linear timeline the same way that we are on Earth. As we're talking about a phenomenon that would break science as we know it, there's no reason to assume that. Perhaps all of our lives take place simultaneously.

@yorkshiregirl13 @Schreiberland My toddler used to be woken regularly by "the crying man and the angry lady", who didn't pay any notice to him, but woke him with their fighting. On a visit to the local museum, we learned that his bedroom sat very precisely on the site of the town's old debtor's jail.

@HiCaseyV Met Paul McCartney on a Soho side street. He was very gracious and polite, but that's not the interaction. A week later I passed him walking with his daughter Stella on Great Portland Street, and HE waved at ME and said "Hello, mate." My business partner nearly fainted.

@RussInCheshire I ran into McCartney on an empty Dean Street in the 90s and he was very gracious while I gushed and thanked him for everything. A week later, I was on Great Portland Street when our paths crossed again and HE waved and said hi to ME. The look on my colleague's face was priceless.

@Kevin45etl @AaronBastani @lukeakehurst Starmer himself is rather unpopular - polling behind Sunak as preferred PM, even as the Tories implode. Voters are ready for change certainly, but they clearly have little faith or trust in Starmer. Hardly surprising imho. He’s proven himself to be dishonest and dishonourable.
