@laurencyclist You had plenty of time to stop. What cyclists seem to fail to understand is that this doesn’t happen because you’re a cyclist, this driver would have done this to another car. You were far enough back and moving slow enough to stop. No real issue.

@SalmaYaqoob It’s wonderful to see so many Labour MPs holding on and resisting the division promoted by these so-called Gaza independents. Nobody should be able to be elected to our parliament based solely on their stance on a foreign conflict that the UK has no control over.

Whilst improvements in living standards have contributed to a reduction in childhood mortality, the reality is that vaccines play a huge part in children surviving early infancy. @RobNoLastName So we went from 2nd to 7th, and back up to 4th? That’s a net loss of two places, no? It’s meaningless either way, because exports or not, 14 years of Tory rule is returning only misery. Brexit or no Brexit, this country is a miserable mess.

@marcusjdl I understand the sentiment but almost everyone “excluded” is excluded by their own choice. If someone chooses to practice a faith that doesn’t allow them to enter a pub, then that’s their choice. We shouldn’t have to accommodate everyone’s choices all of the time.

@ChrisThinkbiker Unfortunately a large minority of motorcyclists turn the road into a racetrack. 110mph. Disgraceful and whilst I wish the rider no harm, he brought it all on himself. A miracle he didn’t cause a fatal collision with another road user.

@g0ldf1nch @Robyn_Medhurst I don’t think it’s disrespectful though. Frontline healthcare workers who deal with death and injury on a daily basis engage in gallows humour. I’m personally (subjective, I appreciate) not phased by this at all. I think you have to see it from their perspective too.
