My friend, the highest course for Officers is the Grade 1 Staff Course. Which is done at either NDC in Kenya or an equivalent institution overseas.
The G1 staff course is normally done by Officers at the rank of Colonel though you will rarely get Brigadiers who are yet to do it
I couldn’t let this slip. So yea, here it is!

There is nothing like being 'expelled' from KDF, you either get dismissed, discharged or retire from the service. Also to note, one is deemed to have joined/enlisted into the KDF after they have been alloted a SERVICE NUMBER. Were you issued with any service number ??
After I was expelled from KDF 2009 because of teeth issues, I opted to join G4S Security Event Team 2010/2012, I did quite recommendable job, 2011 I was the Head of Security Team in Nyayo National Stadium during Safaricom Sevens where Raila was the Chief Guest.

It is important to note it's the 2nd time KNS NYAYO and KNS UMOJA are getting midlife refits, having gotten their 1st in 2009 in La Spezia, Italy.
KNS NYAYO and KNS UMOJA should be the oldest ships in the KN fleet today after being delivered in 1988. They're 35 years old afloat
Our technicians are preparing for the docking of KNS Nyayo, which will be due for midlife refit at Mombasa Shipyard in a few months. KSL is well resourced to handle the refit and we are committed to completing the service in the shortest time possible with reduced costs.

I dispute that, he was the first African and founding CO of 1 Kenya Rifles (1 KR) Battalion, not necessarily the first Kenyan to become a CO. Ndolo and Mulinge were already COs even before 1KR was formed.
Lt Col (Rtd) Joshua Korigo Barno, the first Kenyan CO to head a military unit after Kenya gained independence was taken ill early this year at his Kapsabet home. KDF has remained committed in taking care of it’s veterans who served their motherland.
