@JohnBishop100 You’re an intelligent person I am sure, but attitudes like this don’t help. Having shorter hours, or fewer people at events such as funerals/weddings reduces the risk of spreading. The alternative is shut pubs entirely and ban events, but that would go down like a shit sandwich.

@LewisHamilton @nicolashamilton Why make this about colour, isn’t he just a great dad. I feel the constant referencing colour is what drives a lot of racism.

@keikoandgilly @UKLabour @RMTunion @kelvmackenzie Failure of the Unions to allow modernisation which would reduce the need for guards.

@piersmorgan The principle of what was said is correct though. Growing up we did without things so we could have other things. Add together gym costs, Netflix, Starbucks, takeaways etc could be a large proportion towards a mortgage, which as house values generally go up is an investment.

@KingBobIIV @sharrond62 Putting aside the gender/biology arguments for a moment, when did the demands of the few (transgender) become more important than the many (bio female). Also are there many going the other way ie bio women to TG men sports?.

@MartinSLewis The inference you make is that being a Freemason is a bad thing. As others have said they do raise quite a bit for Charity. Surely that’s a good thing?.

@John_Forkin @dcfcofficial @EFL What I don’t understand is the EFL rules state only the EFL can bring action against a club, not club to club, which is the omitted text in Boro letter before action. If correct why is this even an issue? Should have been shut down by @EFL ages ago but they are weak.

@cherylhrolph @sharrond62 @LandRover_UK Fireman, firefighter, does it really matter, more important issues here to be concerned about. We all know what was meant. Only snowflakes can find offence in terms of reference that have been prevalent for decades. It’s not the words but how they are used you should focus on.

@theJeremyVine @BBCRadio2 Why do #vegans feel the need to try and impose the way they live on others. Veganism is a choice, it’s not a religion or gender, so doesn’t deserve protection or a platform.

@Andrew_Frankel Not on when one team, ie MB set their strategy based on the rules, which were then not followed. It effectively gave Max a free overtake on the 5 cars LH had to race past.

@adrianfh @timlayzellart @Max33Verstappen @LewisHamilton I like listening to @OfficialHorner but today he came across as mardy, Max left a gap, Lewis put his car in it, and Max turned in. Wheels banged, and the tyre came off the rim.

@Andrew_Frankel His ‘discretion’ afforded a massive advantage to one competitor. That doesn’t fit well. Lapped cars should have been left as is, then Max would have had the equal challenge of passing as LH did. Level playing field.

@theJeremyVine The world is over reacting for fear of creating the slightest offence to a tiny minority - usually those not directly involved. Not sure where this is going to end, but it’s all going to be a bit duller in the future, walking on egg shells for fear of creating headlines.

@mcfcsaltmine @keikoandgilly @UKLabour @RMTunion @kelvmackenzie Maybe modernisation reducing the need for guards is the solution? Oh wait on, the Unions are against progress. Surprised we aren’t going back to steam at this rate.

@richpayne88 Some good comments here especially not to use conveyancing firms, use a solicitor you can go and sit in front of if needs be. Much of the delay is waiting for searches from the Council. 3+months for mine was ridiculous.

@Porketh @RSdriver00 @tomwookieford I can intuitively reach for a switch or knob without taking my eyes off the road - you can’t do this with a touch screen. Basic common sense, but I guess the car manufacturers are trying to stay relevant to the iPhone generation, ignoring safety.

@piersmorgan What I don't get is supposedly clever people don't get the vaccine doesn't stop you getting Covid, just hopefully lessens the effect, keeps you out of hospital, etc. It still spreads, and that needs abating so more Variants don't develop, hence still needing some controls for now.

@josierones I had a lecturer at Uni who explained the average red top newspaper used a vocab of about 2,000 words, but others like the Times are more like 15k. Moral was read quality to expand knowledge and vocabulary.

@GSwinburn @sharrond62 It’s not Sharron’s fault, the issue is bio men being allowed to compete in women’s events. You couldn’t make it up. It’s all that is wrong with woke/cancel culture today. pardon the pun but organisations need to have the balls to start saying no in these situations.

@oxford_brookes This and many other examples of similar epitomises the lack of back bone that is dragging this Country down. Slightest bit of adversity and we throw our arms up in surrender. We live in an excuse culture, that’s the example we are setting to our Children.

@Tankslider @RSdriver00 Variable speed limits are also used based on predicted traffic, so can be lower even though free flow is occurring. On the M6 near Brum, the speeds can fluctuate from gantry to gantry. Dangerous as end up focusing on gantries so as not to get caught out. @HighwaysEngland.

@PlasticPlanners WTF, what happened to personal responsibility. If you ride a bike, with no lights, wearing dark clothes, then you would have only yourself to blame if hit by a vehicle. The contributing factor is the reckless lack of regard to being visible by the cyclist.

@willdsenior @Michael_Owen @JohnBishop100 It’s probably why it’s not a full lock down, but partial measures as they can see it won’t be so severe, but imagine if they did nothing. The likes of @JohnBishop100 would crow about it for years as deaths would rise.

@ayestee @PaulCowland_ @Carpervert @AutoPap @AutoBant New car prices are largely irrelevant to most as they PCP, so it’s the monthly payment that’s relevant, it’s what has supported high prices. Maybe this is a correction to market, but it does seem a good deal I wonder if that price includes deposit contribution if you take finance.
