They aren’t automatons, they feel that weight of responsibility.

Garrath has nailed exactly how I feel.
I was a young officer, out on the prairie learning my trade as part of a tank crew overseas at the moment his mother died.
That boy grew up into a life of service that he took seriously. I wish him, and his loved ones, nothing but the best.
For what it matters, I'm still firmly in his corner.
He lost his mother as a boy, served his country proudly & had a huge impact on the lives of many wounded veterans & their familes around the world.
He's now working at being a Dad & Husband - away from the UK.

9 years ago Will and I were in Afghanistan together. He was blown up aged 18 in Jan 2011 - one of the guys who was an inspiration for Mission Motorsport in his recovery. He is now a firefighter, we are reunited today Autosport and I couldn’t be prouder. Emotional, for both.
