In other NEWS, brought to you by our roving reporter No Shit Sherlock, on why British GP ticket sales are down :
“this is how much it costs to take your family to the Silverstone Grand Prix”
One is 2,400kgs the other is 980kg
One is nearly 5m in length the other 3.5m
One is “congestion” zone free and comes with a host of tax benefits
The other sips fuel at 60mpg and is small enough to park anywhere so potentially is more City friendly

Hear me out.
When FOS had a small crowd and cars had 500bhp - the Hillclimb record was a bit of “down the pub” bragging rights.

Had a brand new 2.7 V6 Diesel Discovery back in 2006 that averaged about 22mpg.
Drive up to Stansted airport today in this similar sized car averaged 44.2mpg from a 3 litre V6 Diesel.

It’s Spring 1980, I’m 10 years old with my late father picking up his brand new Mercedes in exactly the same colour from Sindelfingen.
Today this car has taken me back and the World is a perfect place.
Absolutely floored the GT3 to see if this Escort van could keep up. He overtook me! Stopped him at the lights and he smiled and shouted “It’s got a Cossie in the front” - love it.
Wow 40k followers.
You should probably know

Just heard BP own about 3,000 EV chargers around London.
They and Shell have ramped the price of charging up, so it’s no longer cheaper than petrol.
If you ran an oil company, you’d do the same right?
