That is very sad. Wow. I had no idea, but, it fits. We had some interaction with him and his wife a few years ago. That, plus the fact that he wrote a compelling biography on Dietrich Bonhoeffer, led me to believe he stood for justice and truth. I realize now how wrong I was.

While I think this is true in some (many?) cases, I also know IHOPers who r overqualified for the positions they held at IHOP, having laid down solid careers to serve at the house of prayer. And that difference, for sure, makes a difference in securing employment beyond IHOP.
