I think the thing that many take issue with here is relative to the timing and backdrop of this statement (IHOPKC and MB) and Sean’s whole body of work. If this were an isolated post that would be one thing, but its not unfortunately. This is reminiscent of the same framework
Trauma & pain has become an idol & an identity for an entire generation.
Victimhood is considered a virtue that creates & connects community.
What about the power of the cross? What about the call to be “more than conquerors?”

Free advice.. sometimes u need to mute somebody on Twitter or unfollow them on FB just to preserve the relationship and respect for them. I’ve done this before and it actually works. Don’t ever forget.. preserving your connection and respect for others is paramount.
