I wasn't allowed to donate plasma and by that I mean get the money I needed to buy food because my heart rate was too high but they checked it while I was standing up and I have postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome and it's never been a problem before until this clinic, sigh

What's wild is when I worked at a hospital and their absence policy was terrible and I was interviewing for a promotion but any more absence "points" would disqualify so I was forced into a corner because they wouldn't bend on the absence policy until I showed up, masked... Sigh.

Yeahhhhhhhhh it took me 4 years to be taken seriously because crap like that. I found a clinician that specializes in ADHD. Shocker: when you actually evaluate a person instead of blowing them off based on vibes, or whatever, you may come to find they actually have the condition.

Getting my gallbladder out in December fixed a solid 30% of my health complaints from the last five or six years. No one ever even mentioned that gallbladder could contribute to those symptoms. Severe fatigue can be your gallbladder, for those that need to hear that.

When my uncle killed himself I was living in MO but he was in AZ, hospital policy was uncles aren't immediate family for funeral travel excused absence, so i was told i'd have to use an absence point per day (if you get 7 it's termination but over 3 you can't xfer/etc)

DSM-5 is making the awful mistake of turning prolonged grief into a mental disorder:
1)there is no expiration date on grief
2)insults dignity of the loss
3)stigmagizes normal emotions
4)will increase use of unneeded psych meds
Further proof APA can't be trusted supervising DSM.
