If we cannot say no to the numerous requests placed on us and yes to prioritizing time to connect with the Lord, our lamps will go out, our oil will be gone, and we will not be effective to anyone.
Complaining is based on a feeling that we deserve to be treated better by God or people. Gratitude is a mindset based on seeing that Jesus has given us much more than we deserve (Phil. 2:14-15).
The IHOPKC Missions Base celebrates the decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. It is time to pray for peace in Jerusalem (Ps. 122) and protection for Pres. Trump and all other leaders in the nations that stand for this significant announcement.
It has been said that "God is not a single-issue voter, but sometimes He is a single-issue judge.” We must change the laws that have led to 62 millions abortions since 1973.
We typically give mercy to the measure that we understand that we have received it from God. When we lack mercy, it is a sign that we do not clearly see the mercy that God has given us.
Abortion is murdering a real person. Human life begins at conception— even the "day after pill" murders a real person. I know the Lord offers tender grace for all who have participated in an abortion and repent of it. We must be clear on how serious abortion is.

Don’t accept anything that you don’t see with your eyes in your Bible. We have a responsibility to challenge something, in humility, if we can’t see it in the word of God.
One of Satan’s main strategies has been to destroy women & minimize the value & effectiveness of womanhood & motherhood. Jesus is raising up His people who will resist this demonic strategy.
We do not have to put up with the lies of the devil. We do not have to live at a distance from God in self-hatred & condemnation & spiritual boredom. We have an inheritance in joy that we can experience.

Regularly verbalize your long-term commitment to your children. This will give them a sense of belonging & identity. Most people struggle with fear of rejection, being forgotten and/or not being special to anyone. Our children must know they are a top priority.
Your most accusatory critics can tell you something of your own deficiencies. Consider them a free research team. If you have a spirit of confidence in the Lord & a teachable spirit, you can get some amazing insight that you would not normally have received.
The Spirit is calling the Church to work together to offer intercession flowing from prophetic worship and intimacy with God to fulfill the Great Commission. It is prayer for the harvest, with music, and from intimacy with God.
With the increase in God's favor in our lives will also come an increase in the temptation to draw back in proclaiming unpopular truths because of fear of losing favor with people.
We can not dismiss Biblical ideas because they are new to us & were not taught by our church/denomination growing up. We must be like Bereans who searched the Scriptures daily to see if the new ideas Paul preached to them were biblical (Acts 17:11).
A healthy family relationship requires about 10 positive statements to every 1 negative one. We cannot drive a 10 ton truck of correction over a relational bridge that can only bear 5 tons.
The tone of our communication is a most important issue in restoring a relationship. We are to make our appeals in a spirit of gentleness, aware of our own failure & deficiency. (Gal 6:1)
David prophesied that children’s worship would silence the enemy at the time when Jesus’ name is honored in all the nations. Jesus connects His end-time global prayer movement to His purposes of reaching the fatherless (Ps. 8:1-2).
I refer to “affection-based obedience” as the strongest type of obedience because it flows from experiencing Jesus’ affection. It is the most consistent obedience because people moved by love will endure anything for love. It is stronger than “duty-based obedience”.
Finishing our life work requires persevering with diligence in the face of smallness, weakness, & resistance without drawing back in fear, bitterness or laziness, etc.
Jesus will return for a prepared Bride. In the face of escalating sin, God will bring His people to victory. Only satisfied people who are happy in God will be equipped to stand in that hour.
We must regard or evaluate our spouse, children & friends by who they are in the Spirit, or in God’s eyes, instead of only seeing them according to their fleshy weakness & limitations (2 Cor. 5:16).
Satan attacks God's people through deception, accusation, fear, oppression, etc. But Jesus gave His people authority over Satan and his tactics against us.
Loving ourselves includes not despising our appearance, gifting or ministry assignment, no matter how small it is. We thank Jesus for who we are in Him & for the unchangeable aspects of ourselves & our lives.
One of the greatest miracles in history is the transformation of the end-time church from a lukewarm spirit (Rev. 3:16) to being a fully prepared Bride (Rev. 19:7).

Ps. 23 tells us that the Lord has prepared a feasting table for us but He will not force-feed His people. Feasting on God empowers us to walk in victory over our fear & anxiety. When we feast on God, our pressures & circumstances look differently.
Jerusalem will love Jesus.
Psalm 122:6-8 “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. May they prosper who love you. Peace be within your walls, prosperity within your palaces.”
One emphasis of the Spirit is to restore honor to women in the kingdom. In my opinion, women have been the largest, most diligent, & effective work force in the kingdom throughout history. Mothers are the most successful in making disciples.
Jesus did not insist on being honored, understood, or viewed rightly. He embraced a life in which everyone underestimated Him and His abilities. People never knew how superior His abilities were.
