Getting in the shower. It can take me hours (if I have them) to motivate myself to shower. I always feel better after I do it but the build up is horrible. Worse when I need to wash my hair.

I went to a top university with a 3.5 gpa and a 26 on my ACT (decent but nothing to write home about comparatively). I KNOW most of my white classmates thought I got in because I’m black. What they didn’t know is that I wrote the shit out of my essays and that’s how I got in.

This was a really bad take from her. All of my friends work full time and a lot of them do other stuff on the side. I’ve never made more than 50k a year and I have a bachelors degree from a top university (so do a lot of my friends). I would love to afford a house.

Nah, as someone who is 5’4” on a good day, when these people stand close to the stage it’s an absolute nightmare. Because they’re really inconsiderate about moving too. Not to mention, at least in my experience, its almost always yt men, who are incorrigible on a good day.

My friend used to be a competitive gymnast. We often talk about how cost prohibitive white dominated sports are. When I was a kid, I had to quit figure skating because my mom couldn’t afford two sports. When I see teams that look like this they truly represent us as a nation.

I work nights, and thankfully not in an office, but I think the issue is 40hrs a week (usually more than that with unpaid lunch hours and commutes) is a lot of time. The 40hr work week is also some fake nonsense made up by Henry Ford so 👎🏽

I know I should agree with you but I’ve also never felt at home in my body. Even as a kid the body I have never felt like mine. I’m 34 now and still feel this way. My body is purely a costume I cannot take off. But I also know that wanting a surgery assisted body is unrealistic.
