's sis
NYC Black mixed w/ AR, AL, & MS Black.
The Black rose who grew from concrete.
Opinions are from my ancestors.
Y'all hate gender reveals, travel pics, promposals, chicken sandwiches, selfies, before & after pics, wedding proposals, weight loss journeys, food pics, makeup transformations, & anything that makes people happy. Admit you hate your life, get off the internet & go to therapy.
Y'all still not understanding. People see children as a punishment for women having sex. That's why some folks say the solution for women since Roe has been overturned is to "close your legs." Not once do they advocate men getting vasectomies or keeping their peens in their pants
Pregnancy isn't just something that happens. It changes women's bodies. Pregnancy can even kill us. Take care of pregnant women and if they want a back rub or some honey gold wings at 3:30 in the morning, get them.
I went to Target today and not a single person was complaining about St. Patrick's Day clothes and signs everywhere. People who complain about Black History Month need to admit that they don't like Black people.
I have theory on why people hate women who childless by choice. They think women who are childless by choice are having sex without consequences aka children are a punishment for women having sex.
Everyone wants the village to raise their child while ignoring the villages rules. I'm all for giving young women grace, but when they reject wisdom, we have to understand some only learn through experience.
Black American WWII vets being denied their GIBILL while the largest expansion of the middle class happened in the United States because white veterans were allowed to use theirs. And how that has stolen multigenerational wealth from Black Americans for generations.
The racist and misogynistic tweets about Blue Ivy made by the Black male reporter and the White female reporter reminds me of a long quote from bell hooks. She said, "White women and Black men have it both ways. They can act as oppressor or be oppressed.

When a woman's career/education begins to flourish all of a sudden she's pregnant/getting married. There's a myth that women overwhelminly trap men with pregnancy and marriage. We've recently seen it's the opposite.
Those people are not your friends especially HR and your managers. Everything you do or say will be used against you in your performance reviews. Be friendly but keep your personal life, your home, or anything that indicates wealth to yourself.
I've been using sunblock since my 20s becauseI have lupus. I'm 47 years old. I still get carded to this day, especially when I am not wearing makeup. If you care about your skin, please wear sunblock.
Shea Butter is NOT sunscreen
Oils are NOT sunscreen
We use oils and butters to COOK MEAT.
So if you put oil and butter on your flesh (meat) you are cooking your skin.
Ancient people used clays, hennas and muds on their skin to protect them from the sun/heat.
Twitter is so funny. Y'all think once women hit their 40s, we turn into the Golden Girls. I'm living more in my 40s than I ever did in my 20s.
At 20, you seek the validation of others.
At 30, you finally seek validation from yourself.
At 40, you realize you were already enough.
Y'all have to understand she's not lying. There is a horrible myth in Black spaces that Black women can't grow hair. So they assume if a Black woman has long hair, she's mixed. I know it sounds ignorant and it's completely untrue, but some sadly believe it.
Black love movies: BW divorces her rich abusive hubby. Asks God to find her a good man. She makes $200k at work. Finds a handyman who says no weaves. Cuts hair & shacks up
NonBlack love movies: hot guy falls in love w/ quirky girl & proves how much he loves her. She marries him
Advice for my younger sisters. Being a "good girl" and doing the right things for others will get you used and abused. You'll resent them for using you and you'll hate yourself for letting them. Forget everyone elses rules and live life on your terms.
Pregnancy can change and even destroy your body and mind forever. The same way pharmaceutical companies tell us about the side effects of drugs, we need to tell women about the side effects of pregnancy.
Black women hatred is a lucrative business. It has turned vile & racist individuals into social media stars. One of the best ways to end misogynoir is to defund it. How?
Don't retweet, share or comment on it.
Block the content creator & promote videos that uplift BW!
There's a reason why some people legit hate child free women. Folks want to control women's sexuality and one way they believe is to force women to have children. Children change women's lives dramatically from career, financial to relationship choices.
Times are different. Back then granny lived off her husband's pension & social security & her home was paid off. She was able to watch the stories & her grandbabies. Today pensions are gone, & we're living longer lives, but people can't afford housing & are working more.
White women may be victimized by sexism, but racism enables them to act as exploiters and oppressors of Black people. Both groups have led liberation movements that favor their interests and support the continued oppression of other groups.

Women look better, smell better & are better, but I'm attracted to the sex who believes they're gay if they wash their ass. Sexuality isn't a choice folks.
Everyone expects the victims of bullies to be "the bigger" person. That protects bullies and reinforces bad behavior. I love when the victims of bullies drag bullies to hell.
Both groups want liberation for themselves while some want to have the right to also oppress others. We see it on these social media streets every day. Nothing unifies Black males & White females more than the oppression, exploitation & humiliation of Black women & our girls.
The less children women have the more control and choices she has over her life and sexuality. Contraceptives and abortion are ways women can control our lives.
Let's be honest. Women take on the primary caretaking. Having children can slow down or even end a woman's aspirations. These people are threatened by your freedom, independence, and the realization that you can have a fulfilling life without being anyone's caretaker.
Y'all don't get it. There are many BW who reject the strong Black woman trope because of the multigenerational health problems it has caused our matriarchs. I'm going to talk about my pain. I'm going to seek professional counseling when I need it. I will ask for help & accept it.
My oldest son who is on the spectrum got his first job and passed all of his college classes. He's majoring in computer engineering. My younger son joined the Airforce. I'm so proud of both of them. I know their father, my late husband, is proud of them.
As long as these two groups or any group defines liberation as gaining social equality with ruling class white men, they have a vested interest in the continued exploitation and oppression of others."

Everyone is praising medical workers. Let's not forget our sanitation, retail, custodial, manufacturing, food service, supply chain, postal, delivery, and our transportation workers. These people are disproportionately Black and underpaid.
My mom's ex beat my mom and us regularly. He terrorized us for seven years. It drove her deeper in her addiction. She wouldn't leave. He destroyed her. One day my twin and I beat that negro with bats in the street. I got his knees. That f**ker never touched us or her again.
My sister was handcuffed by her ex while he went to work. He returned, uncuffed, demanded her to make food, she asked if he wanted it cooked in a skillet or pan, he chose skillet, then she profusely beat him w/ it. He’s been wheelchair bound since.
Heavy on MAIM THESE NIGGAS.
For my ageist friends who consider anyone over 30 old. When I tell yall it's a privilege to reach 40, I mean it. Because a lot of people won't. I done seen and lived it.
Childless by choice women aren't selfish. They are self-full and are the happiest group of women, while others aren't. That happiness & independence threatens the order that insists women exist to serve. The people who insist on women having children women don't want are selfish.
Frederick Douglass for all he had done would've never accomplished anything without his wife Anna Douglass. She helped secure his freedom. What did she get for her build-a-bear project. He brought his racist White mistresses in his home where they mocked Anna for being uneducated
Black women deserve protection.
Black women deserve safety.
Black women deserve respect.
Black women deserve to live.
Black women deserve justice.
Black women deserve to win.
The solution to is not to tell women to close our legs. That's weak sauce. The solution is women taking back power so that abortion rights becomes the LAW OF THE LAND.
The whole 1950s trad wife would've never existed without the back breaking and cheap domestic labor of Black people. Black women did all the cooking, cleaning and child rearing for these families. As much as individuals push for this fantasy, it will never happen again.
Y'all be "prolife" while saying "if you can't feed them, don't breed them." And you don't support public policies that improve children's lives like universal pre-k, universal children's healthcare, public education, & free lunch. The truth is y'all don't want women having sex.
Internalized racism and racism believes Black love or a Black person being loved in movies and even real in life requires dysfunction, violence, trauma and social justice themes. Blackness is more than our traumas and fears. Black people just want to be loved & see us in love.
May every Black woman in 2023 rise to the top on the very tears of everyone who hated, doubted, denied an opportunity, abused or hurt her. We will rise. We will win!
Police in Rochester, NY handcuffed a 9-year-old Black girl and pepper-sprayed her face as she screamed for her father. Police yelled she was "acting like a child."
She replied: "I am a child."
Police claim the girl was suicidal and that they used force "for the minor's safety."
Some people are really threatened by a happy Black woman living her best life. A happy Black woman threatens both their social and financial interests.
Could y'all please stop with the "Black Americans don't know they are" line? It's tired. We do know. I can trace my family to the 1600s in the United States (Virginia). Most Black Americans can trace our ancestry to the 1700s and 1800s. We know exactly who we are.
Sue the person who created it, the websites it was posted on, and the software maker. If it could happen to famous women, people including children will be next. Hold people accountable.
It’s really sick how yall go out of the way to hurt me when you see me winning. Yall going too far, Fake ass shit. Just know today was your last day playing with me and I mean it.
I'm a firm believer in women obtaining economic, social and political power. Run for office. Work on campaigns. Create public and private policies. Participate in the political process. When women run we win.
I would advise women to ensure they are firmly established in their careers, business and education before children and/or marriage because they're like to carry the burden of caregiving responsibilities.
Beyoncé is Black American. Her family has been in the U.S. centuries. Which is longer than most. This her home. Cowboy culture and rodeo is Black American culture. Especially in the south.
If you're a woman who is outraged sis it's time to take action. Start locally. Run for school board, precinct delegate or heck even PTA. Stop being afraid. Our fears got us these justices who think they know what's best for us.
You can learn so much from other cultures and people on the net. But I'm afraid we Black folk have made a grave mistake. We've let guests in our home who think they know our home better than us. The same people tell us we don't have furniture while trying to steal our chairs.
Black love movies ask if the Black woman deserves to be loved once she changes herself ex. hair, career, quality of life, attitude, faith, etc.
NonBlack love movies says all nonBlack women deserve love and the romantic male lead proves she does.
If your child asks for a break, consider it especially if they rarely ask. Taking one day off from their chores or even school won't "spoil" them. Let them recharge. With all the pressures our children face, even children need a moment of self-care.
Black women deserve happiness.
Black women deserve love.
Black women deserve luxury.
Black women deserve wealth.
Black women deserve peace & protection.
Black women deserve health.
Anyone who tells you otherwise is no friend nor ally and they are invested in your subjugation.
Ayana Jones was a child murdered by the police just two years before Trayvon. What Ayana's and later Rekia's deaths showed me was that Black girls and Black women's deaths don't matter and everything Black is centered around protecting males.
I think Trayvon Martin’s death was the start of a huge black awakening and black empowerment movement for our current generation. That was really the first real incidence of racial injustice for a lot of us and I think it will go on to be a turning point in American history.
I love seeing Black women in cottagecore, princesscore, vintage, luxury and other aesthetics because Black women are empowering themselves to show our diversity and most important control our imagery.
During slavery enslaved people were seen as "hardworking." When our ancestors stopped working for free, BAs were stereotyped as being lazy. I believe and I could be wrong, forcing Black women to work low paying domestic jobs & our refusal birthed the "welfare queen" stereotype.
Folks are uncomfortable seeing BW being loved. For ex, every single time a famous person says "BW are beautiful" someone ALWAYS counters w/ "all women are beautiful." You never hear this when they say they prefer blondes. It only happens w/ BW. Folks think we shouldn't be loved.
You got folk on here who think if you're Black and didn't grow up ducking gun shots, lived in a house, ate three times a day, had a good relationship with your parents, and they made more than minimum wage you didn't have the real Black experience.
Yes, our ancestors lived through Jim Crow. They also had lives outside of that. They were artists, dancers, chefs, parents, sisters, brothers, fashion designers, & business owners. They went to college, joined social clubs, went dancing, and created a life outside the struggle.

You see the “strong Black woman” term is deeply rooted in racism. In order to justify the abuse and rape of Black women during slavery, Black women had to be defeminized and dehumanized. The same thing happens today.
Colorist & sexist jokes at the expense of dark skinned Black women. The irony was the men were all dark skinned but they never got the hair jokes Pam did.
A Black woman is being used as a test case and punished for having a miscarriage (at the advice of a doctor) at home. WTH was she supposed to do with a dead fetus? Call the police? And people are telling folks not to vote in 2024!
This is heartbreaking. A woman in Warren, Ohio, has been charged with abuse of a corpse for trying to plunge a toilet after having a miscarriage at 22 weeks while using the restroom.
You'd be surprised at how many students at universities and families depend on food pantries just to make it through the month. Then imagine the pressure of sustaining high enough grades to maintain a scholarship while working full/part time.
I am not here to denigrate single moms. But what I can tell you is when my experience. When my husband passed away I had control of his assets, his life insurance, his veterans benefits, widows benefits, etc. My children are entitled to things. My sons also witnessed a marriage.
Some outlets say Zaila Avante-Garde is the first Black woman to win the Scripps National Spelling Bee, but she’s the 1st AFRICAN AMERICAN
Jody-Anne Maxwell from Jamaica won in 1998
Others say she’s won the NATIONAL SPELLING BEE, which is an interesting story…
