the government only knows about forms sent to the IRS which for many people is not all or sometimes any of their income. They also do not know about many deductions you might be entitled to.

a really common thing is that you get billed or charged for something you shouldn’t be and then call and talk to a bunch of people until finally someone is like ‘oh you’re right don’t pay that’. i assume it’s usually just incompetence due to complexity

i used blue apron - two main reasons: 1) hate going to the grocery store, 2) hate meal planning.. just having the exact amount of everything and telling me what to make was a load off
