Common thinking of younger Christians. Only came about in past 30 years or so. Prior to that, Christians had fun playing Santa Claus, their children were normal and stayed with the church. Now the kids who didn’t have trick or treat or Santa Claus have left the church🤷🏻♂️

Christian “Sabbath” is for Presbyterians, we are Particular Baptists. Hebrews 4 teaches us Christ is our sabbath rest from The Law. Go to church in the morning, enjoy golf and football and going out to eat on Sunday afternoon.

Good grief. Christ is not referring to all humans as gods in John 10:34. Psalm 82 is referring to judges and prophets who determined men’s guilt in crimes and received revelation of the Word. Christ is saying He is far more God than those “gods” when rebuking Pharisees.

Read the other verses. Christ fulfilled the Law (5:17), then 5:20. Notice how He said "your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees"? No one could be more righteous and perfectly follow the Mosaic Law. Hence the only way to Heaven is Christ
