Listen, Evangelical Reformed churches can be beautiful without being crypto-Anglo-Catholic. For instance, I think Christ Church PCA in Normal IL, is one of the most aesthetically pleasing church buildings that reflects our Reformed theology that I’ve ever visited:
Evangelicals don’t have crappy looking churches because they’re poor. Evangelicals have crappy looking churches because they have a different understanding of what happens in worship than other Christians—RC and Protestant. This is the Summit Church in NC.

On the passing of PCA fathers Tim Keller and Harry Reeder in the past 24 hours, who were sometimes seen as from two different wings of the PCA, this is a great sentiment I share:
May the Lord bless the PCA. God has made me to be part of a beautiful church. I don’t want to be anywhere else. Give me the Kellers and the Reeders and everyone in between. We have our differences, problems and warts, but we all have a good Savior and a godly heritage.
