The Catholic Church doesn’t discourage us from reading the Bible… private interpretation is dangerous. The Bible even says this. try again.
Catholics say they gave us the Bible, but it’s dangerous to read it yourself and you need someone (their church) to interpret it for you. My question is: if it’s so dangerous for us to read it ourselves, why did you give it to us? You didn’t give it to us, and it’s not dangerous
