His vision and direction were ahead of his time, and his grace and humility have been a beacon to humanity.

My birth plan: come home alive with a healthy baby and not pretend to be superhuman for made up points.
The reality: 26 hours of labor, with painkillers and epidural as I chose, failure to dilate +7, meconium in fluid, emergency c-section.
Total success: we came home alive!

I’d try it, but I’m pretty sure it would be a terribly cold, uncomfortable bath. It misses the point of both hammocks and baths.
I love a deep hot bath; a hard hammock with my feet sticking out of the water seems a poor substitute.
All I can think is “Why? Who asked for this?”

ONCE I didn’t return my cart, and it stays with me: I had flu, 3 year old had flu, 3 month old was healthy but cranky, Illinois winter, snowing, slushy Jewel parking lot. I just….couldn’t.
This was 17 years ago, no grocery delivery services or parking lot pickup orders. 🥺
