Next time - It is Dr Bansal and when addressing any doctor do not forget to use Dr. “surname”. We are actual doctors who have “studied medicine” unlike your Schrödinger's cat (PAs). I would appreciate if you are more professional while addressing an “actual” doctor.

@iDrSunny Hi Sandeep. Unfortunately this reply on our Facebook messenger service isn’t correct. We don’t describe PAs as 'studying medicine' and we're sorry for the confusion this has caused. We have information about what's involved in the education and training of PAs on our website

Don’t tell a doctor how to do their job especially when you’re a pharmacist trying to masquerade as a clinician. PS: In my opinion, doctors and consultant should be protected title and not thrown away like a candy for anyone to use especially in a clinical (hospital) setting.

@KSS_PAS What do you mean by saying “Doctors go but PAs stay & they really get to know the patients”. As if rotation is something which is under control of Doctors in training (DiT). Any given day a doctor would be better in clinical decision making than a PA. Controversial much?

@ClareGerada @Cleverclog67596 @ExplosiveEnema2 @rcgp Of course, somebody with more training and in depth knowledge of medicine( a fully qualified doctor) compared to a layperson with random 2 years Masters should be supernumerary( I agree). However, PAs are free to go around running the clinic with “appropriate supervision” 😉

@ptomk1 @doctor_oxford @JosephineCumbo How INTENSIVE was it? I would like to know more about this intensive degree. In reality, the only intensive thing about PA degree is when they are taught to say the words “intensive/medical model/MDT/just like doctor”.

@Dr_Done_ Seems they pick up the topics by lottery system and not by the essential things one need to know about a particular speciality.

So rather than humbly accepting/taking responsibility for an ill thought out letter written to doctors at @MFTnhs , Dr Hendry has decided that blocking people on twitter for questioning her is the right thing to do. #toxicworkplace

@rcgp @DrSarahClarke An amazing leader. Really appreciate all the work she has done to sell out GPs and to promote PAs. She deserves an OBE for this. @ClareGerada

@rcgp @Dr__Sarmy @BMA_GP @NHSEngland There are other universities providing the same course. If this seems to be unsafe in this scenario, it means that this is unsafe in other universities as well. I am collecting a list to help you and would expect you to contact all of them and hopefully to stop this nonsense.

@LukeAmos__ They have thousands of excuses for other members of MDTs. However, when it comes to doctor - straight to Gestapo Medical Council a.k.a. GMC - hound them till they commit suicide.

@theveindoc So that people can refer me to GMC just because I disagree with them? No, Thank you.
