As a Bangalore techie, I would suggest you guys to start with Solid Infra and then policies like tax breaks, cheaper land, tech incubation centres, etc. Don’t forget, BLR has huge number of quality education centres from decades. And Teluguites r most interested H1B than HYD.

Road Tax itself is a scam. No benifit and a whopping tax. For a Hycross with Ex-Showroom price of ~30L, Road Tax in Karnataka is about 6L. Then Insurance has a GST as well.

Bangalore never had traffic issues, the management was the issue. The traffic cops so far are to be blamed for defaming Bangalore on a global scale and shifting of many companies to other cities. But anyways, things are changing and they now deserve to be appreciated. Keep up 👏

This is a very grave issue that I’m sharing. I wanted to travel from Manipal Hospital to a place which is 3km away. I checked with a bunch of autos parked there and they demanded ₹150 for 3km even after insisting to run on meter 1/n

This clearly suggests they should remove Pension system. But alternatively, they should hike the salaries, encourage people to invest/save more by reducing/removing taxes. It is not very difficult to plan our retirement fund, private employees have been doing it on their own.

Such a disgrace these babus are to the citizens. I’m not a number expert, but more than 50% of air traffic goes from East/South BLR who are already taking 2+hours to reach there. The new airport should have eased the commute for them but it’ll be more difficult now

EPF is the best instrument out there. Tax free upto 1.5L; that’s ~45k savings right there. And the return is tax free as well. Agree that 8% return is as good as inflation. EPF has a different purpose. It’s the safest asset.

Nice is already a Joke with traffic sometimes, only 2 lanes and ₹285 toll one way. It’ll take atleast 2 hours in metro from Whitefield to Nelamangala airport. It is not convenience. It should be within 1 hour

They opened an office here an year back, I could never make out what they were into. Looked like a Saree business but it was an office also. My wife says, it’s highly expensive and overrated. Don’t know anyone who bought there. Now it’s permanently closed. Not surprising though!!

Though I dream of this train to our city, it won’t make much sense to extend Hubli train till Bgm as long as Kittur route is ready. Instead, there should be a VB from Bgm to Mumbai via Pune. That makes more sense.
