Alright Catholics and Orthodox. I'm currently discerning between the two. Leaning pretty aggressively towards Rome. What are your best arguements? . I hate how mystic the East is . Sex fasts are really weird. The Catholics make up alot of rules. Give me your best objections too.

@ExtremistNo4 Ok idk what a coomer is but I whole heartedly disagree with this outside of family relationships. There is absolutely no way under any circumstance i would ever want a female friend.

I'm not in this group or anything and I have no allegiance to RZ whatsoever but this is ao disgusting. I wouldn't dare to venture to say all Orthodox are the same but he is a giant face of Orthodoxy is this really acceptable?.

@orthodoxluigi No he said he permits it for a time if both parties are in agreement, not because the bishop says so or whatever. Appreciate your continued input.

@cathologia I really think it was a conglomeration of unfortunate events and both parties made mistakes and both have a realistic claim, though I think Rome's is slightly better.

@calvinrobinson I apologize in behalf of my kind. There are certainly some Lutherans that are unaware of the historical Catholic Churches teachings. The U.S. has been very poor for Lutheranism.

@ZacharyOfUlster I take it you are Orthodox based on the three barred cross. I like a degree of ecumenism too, I actually think it's essential in the 21st century. My experience with Orthodox writings and members is that they are blatantly and unapologetically anti-ecumenism. Does this bother.

@superxtianmario I'm basically saying that Catholics think because they got to keep the name and the "uninterrupted" history that they are the main character and everyone else are offshoots but you believe you are the true church and we believe we are.

@MethodMinistry If the mainlines, like the Episcopalians and Lutherans, were able to maintain even half of their churches as orthodox and conservative, I don’t think you’d be seeing as much of this issue.
