@OzLutheranChick Wow, you mean that I could move to the middle of Australia and all I’d have to put up with is the excessive heat and the 7,000 different species of animals that want to kill me? Where do I sign up?

@josiah_royer I would affirm that the Baptist doctrine is completely foreign to anything having to do with Christianity. While individual baptists may be saved, it’s in spite of the heterodox nonsense that gets taught in their churches.

@redeemed_St @TheologyShow @5Solas2 1) This falsely assumes that infants cannot repent and believe. 2) Pay close attention: where is the scripture that says “repent and believe and then be baptized?” It’s not Acts 2:38.

@redeemed_St @TheologyShow @5Solas2 So, we have to recognize repentance, which you admit that we cannot do.

@Gatlj12345 @TheologyShow @5Solas2 That’s what I said. Those who have faith receive the saving waters of holy baptism to their benefit. If you think that goes against giving infants the washing of regeneration, I don’t know what to tell you.

@DrM_1530 @michaeltaylor90 @WmWeedon Next time I see he’s at a convention, I want to go meet him and tell him I love his 15 minute daily Bible studies.

@redeemed_St @TheologyShow @5Solas2 I mean we can start with the ones who have heard the Word and been washed in the saving waters of holy baptism, but @TheologyShow’s question is pretty relevant.

@Tuor_ofGondolin I’ll remind you, though, that Romans 10 is written of those who already believe.

@josiah_royer I mean, if Baptists would just be honest that they have a different religion than the Christian faith as taught in the Bible and handed down in the church, I think we’d get further to tolerance.
