This afternoon at around 3:30pm our dear sweet Kristopher went to heaven. While heaven rejoices with Kris, we join his Dad, Mom and their children in deep grief and sorrow. Please keep Krisโ family as well as all who love him in your prayers. Lord have mercy.

I just got word from family in South Dakota that my great nephew Kris who is a non verbal autistic 11 year old had a major stroke. He is in surgery to alleviate the swelling and pressure on his brain. He has a 50% chance. Pray for him, his mom, dad and his brother and sisters.

Sunday update on Kris. Thanks be to God the pressure is normal this morning!! He is under heavy sedation and is not allowed any stimulus. The doctors are still searching for the cause. I will take small improvements! Thank you all for your continued prayer. It means everything!

Prayers appreciated! We just got sad news about my nephew Kris. His brain scans have come back and they are showing a great deal of damage. His parents have made the difficult decision to stop his life support. He turned 11 years old in July. Our entire family is devastated.

Update on Kris. He is still heavily sedated. The doctors do not want him to have any stimulation at all in order for his brain to heal. Thanks be to God the swelling in the brain is going down. The doctors do not know why Kris had a stroke. The unanswered questions are maddening.

Yesterday was Kristopherโs little brotherโs birthday. Tomorrow is one of his sisterโs birthday - he was blessed with four sisters and a brother. Please continue to pray as Kristopherโs family learns to navigate life without him.

My Dadโs biopsy came back as cancer. He had a pet scan today to check for more cancer. We have a follow up appointment next week. Prayers appreciated thank you friends.

Right now as I type, the Lutheran Church of Australia is having their General Pastors Conference. Womenโs ordination is on the table once again. Apparently the solution being proposed is โtwo teachings one synodโ which makes zero sense. Pray for our LCA brothers and sisters.

Today is my 26th wedding anniversary. We met online back in December 1996. He was in Perth Australia and I was in Portland Oregon. We met in person 8 months later and married 6 months after meeting in person. My first question when we met was do you believe in Jesus? He said yes.

Monday morning update on Kris. The best news is that he is still stable. The pressure in his brain is normal and his blood pressure is normal. He is still heavily sedated. The doctors ran some tests last night. His parents are hoping for some answers. Please continue to pray!!

Beautiful moment in Vietnam. I was on the street filming the crazy traffic at an intersection whilst hubby was at the dentist. An older man walks up to me and points to my crucifix necklace. He then shows me the back of his phone and he has a picture of Jesus. We both smile.
