@DQualsh4 @RatEscapee @HippieReligious I am well-familiar with Marshall, his book infiltration, and the general problem of Marxism invading the Church. That doesn't explain away the fundamental problems with Papism in light of Scripture and Tradition. To be deep in history is to cease to be Papist.

@_onweald_ I mean, it's crusadong for Trump. Most of the people I'm talking about are pretty obsessive over Trump. He's their Northern Star. So if he's okay with it, it must be right.

@RatEscapee @DQualsh4 @HippieReligious You're right. I need to join the Pachamama worshiping, sodomy-blessing sect.

In the Renewed Creation, the Baptists will only get a symbol of all the great things God has in store for us. (This is called a joke, y'all.)

19 Let us examine him with despitefulness and torture, that we may know his meekness, and prove his patience. 20 Let us condemn him with a shameful death: for by his own saying he shall be respected."--Wisdom 2:12-20 ...But yeah, totally not at all Scripture. Not even maybe.

@westminbaptist I've not even mentioned the RP, to my recollection. That might help my case, but it's not the basis for my case. My point is that if the only point of Baptism is that it's a public profession of faith...then it should be used as the standard public profession of faith.

@westminbaptist ...but certificates aren't given as the ordinance for the public profession of faith. Baptism is (in your view). So you at the VERY LEAST can't be upset about "re-Baptizing" as the standard "public profession of faith" upon transfer.

@DQualsh4 @RatEscapee @HippieReligious There is nothing humble about that statement. It's arrogance; complete arrogance.

@westminbaptist ...it happens repeatedly. Why not with Baptism? 3) There is no ordinance to "contact your old parish" as the way to make a public profession of faith. There is, according to you, one of Baptism as the public profession of faith; a necessary component upon entering a new church.

@westminbaptist More like, "While we are at the movies, it only makes sense to give the tickets to the ticket counter after purchasing the tickets". It's not necessarily the case that one must GO to the movie after purchasing the ticket, I suppose. But it only makes sense.

@catholicgoat @riecker You're a radical reformer or a Restorationist if you deny infant Baptism. You're not part of the historic, Magisterial Reformation.

@westminbaptist I said it only makes sense. Please explain why it doesn't. Plenty here see the connection.
