This is illegal per the Americans with Disabilities Act. You should not only decline to answer the question but report the company to the attorney general of the state in which they are located.
Targeting a BLOOD TRANSFUSION CENTER! What more can be said about Russian genocide in Ukraine? Please retweet widely. Let's see if all of Twitter can see this.
Terror in Kupyansk!
From President Zelenksyy:
The Russians targeted a blood transfusion center in the Kharkiv region with a guided aerial bomb
"This evening, the Kupyansk community in the Kharkiv region. There are dead and wounded. My condolences! Our rescuers are

Lovely photograph! Have you contacted your local heritage authority or archaeology department at a nearby university? Unless you are an archaeologist yourself, much information hidden in these ruins, including objects not obviously of value, may be lost.
@katephillips29
No wonder! If you are ever near it, St. Laurance church in Combe, Oxfordshire might capture your imagination— 14th C frescoes, a sturdy bell tower, and, if you are lucky and stumble upon their rehearsal, a group of ringers who invite even a stranger to try.
Russia illegally invaded Ukraine and continues to commit war crimes. Ukraine is using up its best young people, who should be building lives and families. Arm Ukraine fully now!!!
"It's very painful.
I still want to live."
There aren't words to describe how much this broke me.
This has to end. Now!
Give Ukraine everything needed to kick out the terrorist federation.
Do it now. It will still be 21 months too late. But do it now!

If you speak to him again, please tell him how grateful his fans are for his kind heart, his work with dogs, his chicken-30 and dog-walk videos, his encouragement of others on their work with dogs, and his whip-smart sense of humor about anything with even a whiff of pretention.
@WmDeanFrench
Being abandoned, then living in a chaotic shelter is hard. It's surprising more dogs don't show aggression as they adjust to life on the outside. Amanda is AMAZING for understanding this as a blip and not cause for eviction, and I'm confident Dad to Dogs can sort Dallas out.❤️

What about Richard Branson, who still owns most of Virgin Atlantic? He's a Ukraine supporter and visited Ukraine last year. Here's a link with some possibly useful background:
@northerngirl65
I have a v. reactive GS spayed female— perfect w/ humans, not dogs. Have successfully introduced a new dog into the family since her arrival, but on walks we keep our distance and deliver treats only when she's in control, then turn around if not. Painstaking process. Good luck!
@Gerashchenko_en
The most damning moment is when you hear a small child saying "Mama" in the background and realize that this woman with a looted Ukrainian toilet is a mother wishing missiles on Ukraine and its children.
@WmDeanFrench
Awww, Dad to Dogs, your followers are decent, yes, but they are attracted to your work because of its profound decency. Thank you for sharing this story. We all surely needed to hear it.
@WmDeanFrench
"Nugget" ❤️❤️❤️. Gaining bed rights on the first day is a pretty big clue of future happiness. So is the fenced in yard for running. Now Dad to Dogs needs to be given lots of his favorite treats for being so brave.
@j_mcconnachie
What a lovely story. If you write about the arts professionally, this could also be an enticing thread in an essay on current arts education and its social value. Either way, thanks for this.
@Nat_Vasilyeva
Your stance regarding why this is chilling is not clear without consulting the rest of your thread. Chilling that your number is known? That Russia is invading Ukraine? That Russian and Ukrainian sons (and daughters and mothers and babies) are at risk? All?🌻
@TheRealHoarse
Read it already on Substack. For all who have not yet subscribed, do so now, before the next juicy installment!
So glad you found these happy trails, Hoarse.

Write and call directly. Some intern is undoubtedly in charge of twitter postings and may not have any authority to act at all.
The contest could easily be reimagined as hedgehog drawings and paintings.

This beautiful photograph should go to the alumni magazines of all the relevant (undergraduate, graduate) institutions. Congratulations to your sister and all of you!

Disagreeing somewhat with my esteemed colleague Literature Lady: If you are this student's advisor, the lack of documentation should have been uncovered and addressed long ago. If you are not, I suggest a collegial chat with that advisor. I hope the student will receive guidance.
By the way, "not good with kids" usually means the parents were too clueless or careless to teach the children how to treat the dog, and likewise that they didn't show the dog how to behave with children. It is almost NEVER the dog's fault.
A young terrified puppy crammed into a minuscule kennel, Zeus 189948 arrived Dec 22 for “not being good with kids”– now TBK Thursday in NYCACC. Just 12 MONTHS old and a friendly, outgoing and rambunctious puppy who’s great with other dogs, he knows his cues and loves car rides.
@AveryBa68752542
Fun for your followers and probably much easier on the puppies. Transport trucks perform valuable work, but they're stressful for the animals. What a lovely idea!
@jlsmilges
I see a course in your future: "Finding Good Trouble in Reading?:Problematic Books and the New American Puritanism." It would be fantastic to teach!
@TitianRed63
Dear TitianRed Voting Blue,
One does not drown in GSD undercoat, one simply floats along in clouds of it. Like rain in England, whatever you do, it will be there.
We recommend buying only GSD-colored clothing, including socks.

What about doing a little crowdsourcing on here to raise the funds? I'm guessing you'd get plenty of donors to cover the costs. You could direct the funds straight to your vet if that were easier.
@NYFarmer
Oh my goodness. How terrible. This should not happen, especially to people who grow our food!
Who are your state reps? Maybe there is a govt. program that might be able to help.
Just when the day seemed spent, along comes an exchange—not a single post, but a whole, illustrated conversation— about the condition of a single hedgehog, based on tick size, and whether he required rescue. My faith in humanity is restored.
@piedwarbler1
Well done, Sarah, yes. The ticks are of differing sizes so are being attracted to him and his smell of sickness, rather than him sleeping in a nest of tick eggs (and them all attaching at the same time, therefore being the same size). Thank you for being his ambulance.
@YulianaPS22
This is a painful, almost unbearable photograph— so emblematic of what Ukraine is suffering, yet also of its bravery. The whole world is with you. Ignore those calls for gratitude. It is we who owe Ukraine a debt of gratitude for showing us how courage and high ideals really look
Interpretation just published an essay I wrote while living with two dogs who couldn't get along. One pup now lives in Brooklyn with my son and his wife; the article, "Convivial Gardens," explores the garden of Eden space-critically. So glad both pups have the space they need!
@Harry20211959
A portrait!
Before I forget, here is a photo of one of our adopted doggies, George Eliot, when she was just a puppy and still small and ill from her past life. She weighted about 17 lbs here and is now a hale and hearty 50ish.

Crushing testimony from a SA medic on the price of Western inaction in Ukraine. Where are our governments? WHERE IS SPEAKER MIKE JOHNSON?? History will remember us bitterly if we permit the boundaries our fathers defended in WWII to fall under Russian horror now.
Pls. repost.
🇺🇸 Americans, the shame you feel because

🇵🇱 Poles, the shame you feel at what some of your countrymen are doing at the border is something we can relate to.

The real question is not why they're so nice (because lots of people are, and you do so much for dogs, and we love dogs), but how they find you???
@EJAllstonEsq
It is not rude (and I really believe in manners!). But to let people give something in your honor, why not select a couple of charities that are meaningful to you? Your guests (and your mother) might feel better about that -- as would the recipients!
Happy wedding!
@WmDeanFrench
Bill, this is a terrible story and undoubtedly traumatizing for you and the whole department. I hope the dogs—and all the nice humans around you—will be a comfort.
@Literature_Lady
Dear Literature Lady,
In terms of human kindness, academia is a cesspool: do not be manipulated by its charms. Humans are meant to survive and even -- dare I say it -- thrive. Put your excellent brains to work in ways that help you do so. For now, though, I'm sorry you're sad.
@StanWillenbring
But if you leave, the pool of good people will have shrunk even further, and eventually it will be just Mark Hamill versus an echo chamber of anti-environment, right wing, pro-Russia, anti-Choice Republicans and Russian bots!
A sweetheart with a great temperament, David is overlooked in Apple Valley CA and is due to lose his life early Tuesday morning. Five years old and of course he’s scared, he knows he’s not safe and is in urgent need of a foster or adoption offer to save his life. Please
@snarkademic
You are not alone, but the news has made all of us feel marooned, far from the world we thought we knew, even with all its glaring and seemingly intractable faults. I can only imagine what this must feel like if one is connected to one of the communities most affected.
@igornovikov
Please do not give up, or else those Russian women will have won. What the Russians are doing is terrible, but remember: the whole world is on your side, not theirs.
@GsdTplo
You've probably already talked to your vet, but I'd do so again. Dogs don't eat when they feel unwell. This is so obvious that I hesitate even to write it, but a dog who isn't eating seems well worth a second (or eighth) visit. I hope he'll feel better soon!
@WmDeanFrench
Weeeellll??? I see from the thread that the crowd fears Baxter and Finley will be dropping out of the feed. There should be an emoji that combines 👏with 😭.
@Christy_SpaceHW
That is true. The myth of a single year of grief should be abolished as unhelpful and even harmful. Big losses don't evaporate all away all at once. Rather, they become part of the new fabric of one's life, which can be rich, rewarding, and productive, but never the same.
This mother dog is engorged with milk and clearly suffering.
Which rescue took her puppy? It was clearly still nursing and will not thrive without its mother, so lose, lose.
Except, in honor of Thanksgiving, let's save this poor mother dog together! I pledge $50.
