Of the dozen or so times I’ve had something stolen, car broken into etc and involved law enforcement, the one time the case was solved and I was informed that the perps were apprehended was when a check I put in a mailbox was taken. Those guys are serious

One of my coworkers had her window smashed this week in a parking lot. She got it fixed the next day. No dramatic social media posts, no "it's the end of the world!"
Life in a city isn't perfect, but maybe spend some time working to make it better, instead of just complaining.

Manhattan DA Cy Vance spent $250,000 on five-star hotels, dining & first class overseas air travel using money obtained from civil asset forfeiture by his office. He vastly overspent other NYC DAs who do not use forfeiture money to fund similar expenses.
