You didn’t read that right… -stan suffix is similar to -land, what you post is the elaborate description of -stan. The pak- part is more meaningful. Pakistan meaning something like land of purity, Nuristan meaning land of light. Bongistan meaning “England”.

To be fair the Chinese Zoroastrian script is not Chinese. It was found in Dunhuang which is right outside of the Tarim basin. It was written in archaic Sogdian(cognate of Scythian) or Avestan, and could’ve been written by the Scythian Khotanese or other Iranids nearby. Good post!

not overgrowing. Immigrant populations are the breeders in the stats, less housing would mean more space for nature.
