@ConsciousFilth Worked at a burger restaurant in high school. Customer was mean to waitress, she told her boyfriend on the grill line, he got his boys, and within ten minutes there was a full-on cooks v bikers brawl in the parking lot. Nobody lost their jobs bc the bosses said it was justified.

@not_a_heather I was flying out of JFK about 10 years ago and had to mail a letter. Couldn't find a mailbox, so I asked an officer. He looked at me with revulsion and said nothing. I repeated myself, and this guy said "You ever heard of 9/11?" I found the box on my own about 10 minutes later.

@JennyENicholson After a delay, this summer @SpiritAirlines put my 9yo son on a flight and had me and my 12yo daughter fly standby. We get to the plane and apparently only got our seats because another couple missed their 1-hour advance check-in by like seven minutes. The games are endless.

@Italian347 Absolutely. The New Sweden colony lent her name to the Christina River, and for some reason the later Dutch and English tacked on the -ana to the adjacent region. It was still mostly farms when the mall went up in 1979, but that's changed, of course.
