I have subjective opinions, but I care more about nuance and intellectual humility.

If you argue that moral standards should depend on an individual's/group's power, you're effectively arguing that we should empower those who are less moral.
>hamas loads gaza with nerve gas and threatens to murder everyone in the city unless the entire country of israel walks into the sea. how could israel do that to those poor palestinians its inhumane.

@Duderichy The funny part is that none of what she describes wanting to do is actually "being a homemaker". I respect the honesty though.

@SenWarren What ceasefire? Hamas hasn't observed any of the negotiated ceasefires (nor has Hezbollah) . This is effectively demanding one side in a war not to fight.

@awfulannouncing No, fans overwhelmingly don't want to be educated. ESPN's entire model over the past 15-20 years has been driven by this premise.

@Kasparov63 And even worse, he remembered each game you played. From today's perspective, it's funny that weight loss/physical deterioration used to be nontrivial discussion points regarding championship matches.
@mornings0da The time limit matters probably, but Kasparov's memory reset seems crucial. If he remembers all our previous games, I'm probably not beating him until he's close to death. If he doesn't age and remembers gsmes, then maybe never. I'm pretty curious what suggested answers were.

@mcuban You seem to be deliberately avoiding the core of this topic, which is that DEI logic is implicitly based on the idea that hiring proportions should reflect society proportions. NBA team rosters don't reflect societal proportions. Why is that?.
