@sampleswill I don’t have any but I think it’s mostly that I’m too indecisive to ever decide on something that permanent. Not worth it I know I’d wind up regretting it

@UrbanCourtyard I’m thinking that option comes up a lot less on side streets. The ‘old’ parts of the city with those tenement style narrow lots like wicker park and west town wind up with some super painfully weird floorplans due to the lot sizes. Atleast up here they’re a smidge wider.

It’s so jarring to see these neighborhood commercial districts from just high enough that the full skyline is present. At street level these neighborhood drags feel like they’re a world away from downtown. Chicago really is just a bunch of small towns that blend into eachother
