@HumzaYousaf
There isn’t a two child limit Humz. You can have as many kids as you like.
But the state will only pay for two. The rest have to be funded by those who chose to create it.
Imagine that, adults having to be responsible!!!
Sam moves into house near a road.
Sam can’t cope with living near a road.
Sam needs to make better life choices, instead of trying to mess it up for everyone.
Don’t be selfish like Sam. Be better.
@GreenpeaceUK
Can someone please answer a genuine question. If the ‘green’ grid can’t cope when it gets a bit warm, and we all power up our fans and air con, how will it cope with a 7000watt drain from every house, when we all have our cars plugged in?
When a cyclist does it the right way, rather than bleating on about their safety being everyone else’s responsibility.
He’s visible from a huge distance, thanks to his lights and reflective vest.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
There is no requirement for an injury collision between a cyclist and a pedestrian to be formally recorded.
In this case, had the poor lady not died, there would have been no investigation.
I wonder how many injury collisions go unreported and prosecution opportunities missed?
'People are surprised to know that cycling is a lawless activity when it comes to the Road Traffic Act'
Families of victims of speeding cyclists demand action for a 'dangerous cycling' law.
With the UK to introduce new offence of causing death or injury by dangerous cycling I recommend that all cyclists now run a camera as it will be your best defence should the worst happen.
Meet Andy.
He’s another cookie cutter ‘town planner’ that likes safe healthy streets.
But he doesn’t like stopping at traffic lights.
That’s a special kind of stupid right there.
@jackfifield
You don’t hate this country.
A few minutes on your phone, and the clerical error was sorted.
Now move to America, and see how many body parts or houses you have to sell to get the same medicine.
@_AndreaUrbanFoX
I lived just off of Kenworthy Road (Mabley Street) E9 from 1968-2011. Sold up when the house prices went mental just before the Olympics. I went back there for a mooch about this year, when we were down visiting family.
That’ll be the last time.
Went back to Park Lane floating bus stops in London. They are still not working. Riders are not stopping at the zebra crossings, bus shelters are separate from the bus stops & the island platform is too narrow for people waiting for & getting off bus. They are not fit for purpose
I cannot believe these people are actually this thick.
It’s not cycling everyone hates, it’s the self centred toxic narcissism that falls out of some of their mouths.
It’s some of the people that are hated, not the activity.
I agree, people seem to really hate cycling on X
@theJeremyVine
.
I campaign & promote for safer streets to encourage less car usage & more active travel, like cycling. Some of the responses I receive are outrageous!
I’ve shared some of my favourites in the tread below 👇 😉
@RScowler
@BBCSimonJack
You really do live in an alternate mirrored universe to the rest of us.
Every single solitary thing you tweet, is the exact opposite of what’s right and proper.
It’s astonishing.
@roadcc
The Lycra massive are always kicking off when the wording isn’t right, so let’s try again shall we?
‘Hypocritical cheapskate cyclists are unwilling to bear the true cost of secure parking’
You’re welcome.

Can I suggest that someone in a senior position at RBL, looks up the meaning of the phrase
‘Know your audience’
£67k per annum of donated money, spent on a person with the sole job of employing skin colour over talent.
Utterly utterly disgraceful.
That because people work from home.
It reduces traffic, reduces pollution, reduces overcrowding, and is better for the environment.
I thought you cared about the environment Sad me old mucker.
Or is it really all about the money…?
Fewer people commuting on Fridays is having a big knock-on effect on our shops, restaurants, pubs and cultural venues.
So as well as freezing fares for another year, we’re making it more affordable to come into London on Fridays with off-peak fares.
@ill_tonkso
There was no mention of illegality and rule breaking.
It’s quite hard to do that when you’ve barely got any rules, and what ones there are seem to be optional.
We have had several reports from female motorist's who are authorised to drive on the closed roads in
#RichmondPark
of abuse and harassment, including banging on the vehicle and throwing water over the car, by male cyclists,as they believe incorrectly that they are not authorised
@leeroyjones73
No.
The objection is they cause horrendous traffic on the boundary roads, and make life far worse for anyone who has the misfortune to live on said boundary road.
See Streatham Wells for further info.
@joncstone
Cars are not dangerous. People are. If you’re calling for SUV’s to be banned, then please add kitchen knives, lawnmowers, matches, chainsaws, electric, gas, aeroplanes, trains, strimmers, plastic bags and rat killer to the list.
@ElevatedType11
@ZoeParamour
True.
Similarly we shouldn’t have it rammed down our throats, when Colin and his 5 o’clock shadow arrive in a dress and he gets ‘misgendered’
It works both ways.
See Delta Airlines for further information.
@LondonTrafficW1
@LBC
I love the way the report says ‘secret activists’
No they aren’t. They’re normal people who have had enough of being taxed everytime they blink.
@francesca_kms
The comments aren’t unbelievable at all.
You are choosing to force your hobby onto everyone else, then demanding that expensive congestion forming changes are made.
It’s selfish and self centred on a monumental level.
The fact that you can’t see that, speaks volumes.
@n00dles71
Notice how all the bikes in their own lane, are merrily cycling along.
Then there’s you.
Doing what you do best.
You do absolutely nothing to help your fellow cyclists.
Vomit inducing Tweet of the day…..
30mph making you a little unsteady love?
Cut your licence up, torch your car, and fuck of back to Wales on the train.
Finding the speed limits in England a bit crazy! I’ve definitely acclimatised - 30mph is clearly too high a speed limit for a residential street. It’s a culture shock 😳

In 2010 my granddaughter was born in Whitechapel hospital. Such were the wailings of despair from the cubicle next to my daughter, I had no choice but to pay for a private room for the duration of the short stay…
A report has found cyclists are breaking the speed limit by more than 40 per cent in London's Regents Park.
Fair Fuel UK's Howard Cox: "It's a syndrome called idiocy, these people think they're untouchable! Cyclists should be identifiable and registered, insured!"
@iromg
@tandemkate
So you’ve parked the bike equivalent of an SUV towing a trailer across all available spaces, stopping anyone else from parking their bikes?
Hated by drivers and cyclists alike.
That’s a good look.
@MayorofLondon

From 2025, the new Ultra Low Knife Zone will come into force across London.
Users of knives will have to pay £10.25 if they wish to carry one in any of the London boroughs.
It won’t stop anything, but it will bring in the cash nicely.
SK. Making a better London.
@AlexToft
@CyclistAttitude
Stopping someone leaving the scene of a crime? Perfectly acceptable thing to do.
Too many criminals get away. This time, one didn’t.
@FUDdaily
…The mother in the next cubicle as crying her eyes out shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’ over and over again. The husband was shouting at her, blaming her for their failings.
All because they’d had a healthy baby girl and not a boy.
That religion is filth from top to bottom.

You truly are part of the problem.
You dare to suggest putting in a complaint against NHS workers trying to treat someone, who have done nothing wrong?
@glenndenton
Cars do not kill.
Poor driving kills
Poor cycling kills
Mechanical failures kill
Distracted pedestrians get killed.
Cars do not kill.
You really do need to try a little harder
