WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS ~ THE International Champions!!!
Mulberry Stepney Green School won the Greenpower Goodwood International Final on Sunday 9th October 2022. The Yr13 STEM pupils performed phenomenally on the day, displaying great teamwork and an indominable spirit.
Congratulations to our Mulberry Stepney Green Stem Academy students in Y13 for winning the Tower Hamlet Youth Achievement Awards. We are all very proud of them.
Our STEM Academy pupils finished in 4th place at the Greenpower Heats on Sunday 19th June. This is an amazing achievement considering this was their first ever race, well done to all involved! We now look forward to the next race in September at the Top Gear track!
I think you will agree that this cohort got the win they deserved, and we couldn't be prouder of them - the shining beacon of Mulberry Stepney Green!

Our Year 11 and 13 Mulberry STEM Academy class of 2023 had an amazing afternoon full of celebration and splendour at the Mulberry STEM Academy Graduation ceremony on Friday 3rd March. The ceremony took place at Mulberry UTC and was kindly organised by the Mulberry Schools Trust.
On Sunday 18th September our STEM pupils took part in the Greenpower heats at Dunsfold Race Track, aka the Top Gear Track on BBC! The Year 11 team took part in their first race in their car named 'Starlight' and after a few hiccups managed to complete the 1.5hr endurance race.
Year 12 STEM pupils have arrived at the Mercedes F1 Grand Prix factory today to begin their week long work experience residential. Have fun and lots of luck to you all!

International Finals at Goodwood! 👏
The event saw a total of 30 teams from around the world race their own electric cars against each other ⚡
The Year 13 team took part in their second car with their car 'Storm' and finished 3rd! They have qualified for the Greenpower International Final at Goodwood in October! We wish them all the very best of luck!
A group of our Gifted & Talented Year 12 students visited Clare College (Cambridge University) yesterday and took part in UCAS personal statement and interview workshops.
All their hard work, dedication and tireless effort paid off in the end; racing 30 other schools from across the globe (the furthest school travelled from Brazil!) who also qualified for the final heat for a fantastic conclusion to the 2022 season.
On Thursday 14th July our Year 10 STEM pupils took part in the Mulberry Schools Trust Go-karting Competition. Izaan Rahman (10H) won 1st place overall! Rizwan Kalam Azad (10M) took 3rd place overall whilst Fahmid Hossian (10Q) claimed the 3rd runner up trophy.
Mulberry STEM Academy pupils were invited to the Tower Hamlets Youth Achievement Awards 2022 at Queen Mary's University. The event was held on Monday 12th December 2022, and the venue was full of spectators and competitors alike.
Year 7 students captivated by the mysteries of 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time' as they dive into the depths of storytelling in their English lesson with Ms Ahmad.

visited a STEM workshop at Queen Mary University where they got to build planes, race RC cars, replicate earthquakes and chaos, engineer for ice cream and much more.
Our year 7 students had an amazing time at the Sherlock Holmes escape room! They got to build on their teamwork and problem-solving skills, as well as having a lot of fun!

sport day on 13th June! Students from Years 7-10 competed in athletics, with Redwood, Oak, Willow and Elm winning their respective years, and Oak taking the overall prize. You all embodied Olympic values and team spirit!

Culture day was a huge success. Everyone looked AMAZING! Staff and students embraced the atmosphere and had a wonderful day where everyone celebrated each other’s culture together.
We at Mulberry Stepney Green mourn the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. She lead by example and will forever be etched in the history books as a great Monarch. Thank you for your Service, Ma'am.

Yr10 STEM team for finishing 4th at the Ford Dunton Track! Special congratulations to the team for winning the 2024 Greenpower Portfolio Award. This was led by Arman Hussain who put in hours of hard work & creativity. Well done Arman & the team!
And of course, not forgetting our Year 11 STEM team (their car was named Starlight) who also graduated and received goody bags from MGP at the event - well done to all!
The most unforgettable and amazing part of the afternoon for our STEM Academy cohort was the attendance by the MGP accompanied by the Mercedes W14 F1 car, which took centre stage where our students received their graduation awards by MGP CPO Mr. Paul Mills.

A massive congratulations to our Year 12 STEM Academy pupils Mohammed Yusuf; Hameem Mahdi Islam; and Md. Ishraq Ahmed Chowdhury, who represented Stepney Green School at the Mulberry Academy Go-Karting Competition on 18th May.
On Wednesday 29th March 2023, our Year 12 STEM scholars enjoyed a visit to the University of Bristol. The pupils enjoyed a day of talks and activities led by university academics who were specialists in their individual fields.
Year 10 G&T pupils visited KCL in celebration of the global history of Maths with an exhibition and series of taster days for schools. The exhibition looked at contributions to the development of Maths from across the world.
The sessions ranged from aerospace engineering, robotics, computer science and coding & programming. The visit also helped our pupils understand the wide range of courses and universities available to pursue their careers and aspirations in future STEM related fields.
Our students were presented with their graduation certificates and goody bags by the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 (MGP) team. Our students also won awards from many other categories. We're extremely proud of them all, including the Best Team Award for Team Storm!
