they are allowed to come together again twice a year for the eclipse seasons.
it is an invasion of the privacy of their love to watch them cross paths.
My weirdest thought about eclipses lately: since the new moon is typically a private time of union, renewal, worship, and collection of solar effluences for dispersal, watching a solar eclipse is kind of like walking in on your parents banging. This rumination Ruined It™️ for me.
