amazing how the anti-LGBTQ crowd glosses over how prior to 2015 in much of the country, live-in partners didn't have legal rights. they'd lose homes when the owning partner died. wouldn't be able to file wrongful death or loss of consortium claims. they couldn't bury their loves.
