Unfriendly reminder that vaccines are not meant to cure covid - no one ever said that. Vaccines are and have always been just one layer of mitigation. They work really well in tandem with, say, masking combined with social distancing.
I've seen a couple of recent takes saying that people who consider covid to still be a problem are essentially antivax, because they don't trust the vaccine to deal with the problem. That's obviously nuts, but let me just break it down into words one syllable:.

A restaurant ate half the Birthday Cake he made for his friend. They served the cake backstage and when asked for the rest of the cake they said it was all gone.
