Timely to remind people:
Avoiding leaning back in an armchair or lying on back if struggling to breathe.. it squeeze/reduces lung volume; aim to sit upright or lie down on side or somewhat on front..

I suspect they use 3rd party face recognition software.. possibly SAAS style, else licensed and integrated with their systems.
The problem is not software insufficiencies, it's system design: no provision to escalate to manual checks by a human.. followed by authorisation.
