I had this too at a funeral where a friend of mine had died, and only his partner and I were in attendance plus the priest.
We were told to sit apart.
I suggested he called the police.
He declined.
We sat as a group, and said our good byes as friends.
Today I took the decision to step down from my involvement in
@AFCWimbledon
club media.
Been a delight through the years, with many, many highlights. And friends made at opposing clubs up and down the country.
Thank you to everyone who made me feel welcome when I visited.
@starsoojin
erm over 99.7% of people who catch whatever it is, do NOT die.
As for the rest - they don't catch it either.
So what is to worry about, please?
@Jon_Danzig
Incorrect.
We joined the Common Market.
We were happy with that.
We had no choice over EU - we were unhappy with that.
Maastricht Treaty is to blame.
@StarTribune
ah yes, the classic: shoot first, ask questions later continues to work wonders for police relations.
Are police given an IQ test you have to ask?
Congrats to Sutton United on clinching promotion to the
@EFL
today.
Welcome
@suttonunited
You helped
@AFCWimbledon
on the way in July 2002, we look forward to seeing your journey now.

super to see and hear Peter this morning.
This is a person with his own views and also ready to debate the subject in a proper way without throwing around insults.
@gemmamcintosh
@MichaelYeadon3
I am not asking the Government to do any such thing.
They should go back to the Commons and stop interfering in our lives.
End. Of.
@piersmorgan
erm, the virus was never dangerous unless you had an underlying health condition, were of a certain age or fat?
That was pretty clear to most.
@afneil
Shouldn't the boycotters also stop using the Internet, mobile phones, and so much more technology, since without Israeli knowledge none would work?
Perhaps it is a selective boycott? 😆😆😆
They were indeed, Alan.
We
@AFCWimbledon
had some royal battles with Luton Town, but we made friends too.
Stood the test of time.
Delighted they have secured promotion.
Most of those Luton Town directors behind their players lifting that trophy were the ones who came to AFC Wimbledon on 8th August 2009 for their first Blue Square Premier game.
What a job Gary Sweet and the rest of the 20/20 board have done!
@wheatfrom
@AllisonPearson
I got threatened with the police being called when I walked around a pub without a mask.
I said: go ahead.
My table was full of police and they just laughed at the landlord.
@MarinaPurkiss
@MarkHorner
Did you forecast Russia invading Ukraine too?
Or how about lockdown and the damage that did to the global economy?
Nope, didn't think so.
@AllisonPearson
We should be charging the organisers that sum.
The marches would stop immediately.
As a tax payer, I do not appreciate supporting these hamas marches.
@JJS74
@cjsnowdon
I think you misunderstand what Public Houses were designed for.
When you have read up and understood, please return and apologise?
Thank you.
@bbcnickrobinson
@David_Cameron
@BBCr4today
Yesterday the supposedly neutral Jeremy Bowen made a series of apparently anti semitic remarks on Laura's show.
Were they his remarks or did we misunderstand?
There appears to be a trend.
Maybe the BBC should not comment on this subject?

@ABC
it is a fissure eruption, which is different from one from the main volcano. Understand nothing in the area for more than 30 years. So can see why homes were built there.
@Citizen_Toby
Toby, he can't correctly shoot on target, confirmed by his place on the bench, and few, few goals this season.
No idea what they are complaining about.
BTW why did those supporters pelt keeper, Alex Bass?
Hope you are well?
@stefaniei
@Brabbott42
@wsj_douglasj
so it does NOT kill over 99.3% of those infected, which is a figure, that is widely known.
Why have so many gone into lockdown, lost their jobs, businesses gone bust and Governments spent so much of OUR money, please?
Also it affects a certain demographic.
Another KNOWN.
@AFCWimbledon
Quite extraordinary decision from
@efl
in light of current levels of infection in the community as a whole, and amongst both clubs.
Are they medically qualified to make such a decision?
Just been down to Epsom Hospital for pre-op check.
Decided to walk back via the park to the station, and ended up having lunch whilst sitting on this bench.

@GBNEWS
Let me correct that for you:
Pro-Palestine protesters let off flares and shut down Tower Bridge as Police Officers rush to the scene and stand around enjoying the entertainment.
There you go - that is more accurate.
;o)
@KentWomble
First game at Plough Lane November 3, 2020. Just how fitting is that date?
This is from the Centenary Book and appears on Page 11
".........Wimbledon Old Centrals took the field for the first time on November 2, 1889."

The gentleman walks nearest the road and keeps the right hand out of his pocket, so he can brandish his sword to protect the lady from assailants.
He is Sir Keir so should know this.

It is all over MSM today and quite a bit on twitter too with quotes from supposed professionals.
I smell another planned rat.
@JacquiDeevoy1
nope, and even during lockdown I visited hospitals - had to fight with mask wearing people, since I partially lip read & I could not 'hear' them.
When I got into see my consultant - he would say: "we have no need to wear masks, let's lose them"
Another clue it was all fake.

Our original stadium was sold from under us, and had a capacity of just shy 16,000.
The away end held roughly 2,000.
We returned to our Borough only recently having been forcibly away for 30 years.
We are proud of our tin can.
It is ours.
@adilray
countries are NOT on fire, Adil.
Forestry and buildings, but not countries.
As for deaths, the BBC had confirmed no-one had died in Greece as a result of fires this year, even though over 60% have been confirmed as arson.
Not climate change.
Why are you scaremongering?
@melsypop
@SiggyStardust80

if you have to test to find out whether you are ill ......
Doesn't that smack of strangeness anyway?
Or simply fabricated pandemic?
@Harrypell_7
@AFCWimbledon
Thank you, Harry.
Have enjoyed your contributions to the team across the seasons.
Stand out for this season scoring at Sutton as you came on.
From a professional point of you, your willingness to be interviewed post-match when I was managing media, made my life simple.
@MayorofLondon
is this a parody account?
I do not feel safe visiting London now.
I have already cancelled a couple of events I was due to attend.
And I got through umpteen bombings, but the hatred on the streets is a step too far.

I have had a fascination with volcanoes, since I was a child back in the 1960s, so perhaps also understand & appreciate people might think there are safe places to build? Mount St Helens was the wake up call for many, and since then we have seen others erupt that were dormant.
