This country is unbelievable. These three young men were criminals of the lowest. They had terrified elderly people. Sad they are dead but the Gardai were only doing their job. No wonder nobody wants to join our An Garda Siochana.

I think people need to be honest. Most people do not want over a 100 foreign men dumped in their communities. Also pressure on Health Care etc is of the upmost importance. Also are terrorist coming into our country? We just do not know.

A horrible man to use the term blackmail when most of the Aer Lingus junior pilot's are not well paid by World standards. Everytime we fly we put our trust in these excellent pilots. Give them a decent increase and not ruin everybody's summer holidays.

Would not agree entirely. Some people are frustrated. We did have seens like this after Bloody Sunday. The burning of the British Embassy. But people are fed up with unvetted men being sneaked into districts in the middle of the night.

I am just telling the truth. What are 100 men going to do all day long stuck in the middle of nowhere or in a small village? We have a few refugees living with friends where I live. Some are okay but some their culture so different. You have to mix to understand.

Economics is not always correct. In 1991 a family member on one salary moved house. Today their son & his wife with two permanent well paid jobs cannot afford to buy in their area. In fact will be lucky to get a house 20 miles away. So standard of living is falling.

Wrong. My nephews and all young people trying to save a deposit for a mortgage are paying rent of up to 2,000 euros a month. They cannot get anything cheaper. Okay a few share but some not on great money. Then a young qualified able bodied young Ukrainian gets 800.

That is beyond disgraceful. Was there no extra Doctors on call that could come in? I thought there always had to be a Consultant on duty in an ED Department? ED looks after trauma, heart attacks, sepsis. Etc It is so scary.

Should have got Jail. Years ago I was knocked down by a cyclist cycle threw a red light. Luckily not badly hurt but left shaking for a few days. Cyclists are a law unto themselves.

We used have a class called Civics Class. We learned all about our Constitution, Democracy, Socialism, Communism etc. We learnt all about the PR system. We did mock elections etc. Did her parents not show her? Where I came from all the local schools had these classes.

Some people who are Doctors have no real vocation. They are in Medicine for the money and snob value. Years ago Doctors made house calls in all weather's. Today an on call Consultant could not be bothered to turn up for work. He/She should be fired.

I agree Maia. I know two people who refused proper treatment for cancer and went down the holistic route. Both unfortunately died. I had thyroid Cancer at 43 yrs. and taken everything available. I am still on medication and feeling great at 70 yrs.

Dublin is so poor looking with shabby people, beggars and drug addicts. A family member back working in Amsterdam for a few months said the wealth there. Clean streets, canals. People dressed so well. No beggers or drug addicts on the streets. We are sinking.

But before the famine most Irish people lived in hovels. Rarely left their district. No pollution like today sitting in traffic. You cannot compare modern Ireland to the 1830/40's. With climate change and coastal erosion we are losing some land.
