An economic crash would allow the state to nationalise all assets. I happened in Russia after 1917. Savings in cash would also lose value like in Germany in 1927. Hyper inflation. Stock markets as well. Barter type green economy would replace.

Strikes are for other reasons than salary rises. Anyone on less than £100k who doesn't get 10% increase in line with inflation deserves the right to strike. Wages have been suppressed since 2010. Train drivers deserve £58k. MPs get over £200k including expenses.

This is a poor planning decision. This building could easily be turned into a major theatre - shows can't get into the West End. Yet it is now going to spoil one of the UK's main tourist spots ( Piccadilly Circus ) by taking it out if public use. Not appropriate.

London requires a minimum salary of £50k to survive if renting. The rent, energy, transport, insurance and food costs have gone up by 30 to 150% since last January. Wages need to go up 25% for everyone under £50k a year. Above that should be a freeze.

If you only read the UK media then Russia ran out of weapons, ammo and soldiers in March. Sadly for energy prices Russia has over 2 million soldiers and the second biggest store of weaponry in the world. Enough to fight on several fronts for 10 years without a problem.
An elderly couple sitting at a nearby table in the pub seriously thought Putin will soon be defeated and we'll all be warm this winter. I didn't intervene, I had a bus to catch.

The main driver to enable the poor to spend is to increase the ridiculously low minimum wage to £15 / £18 per hour and then use the money saved from Government subsidy to increase universal credit by £200 a month and Pensions by £100. Poor wages are the problem.
