.@tcddublin is still going ahead with the €214,000 fine against @tcdsu and discplinary proceedings against student leaders. They wanted to 'negotiate', setting a terrible precedent for the right to protest. We refused and handed them a legal letter.
The TCDSU has told Trinity College that it does not intend to pay a bill of €214,000 that was levied on the union for what the college’s Financial Services Division says were losses it incurred as a result of protests backed by the SU.

It is deeply concerning that College is willing to acknowledge the realities of the housing crisis, but is also more than willing to profit off of it - a month's rent in College Accommodation can cost upwards of €1000.
