@DanTalksGames There is no grid TTRPG that will not be improved by:.1. Interesting terrain or arena configurations.2. OBJECTIVE BASED GAMEPLAY. I cannot emphasize enough how bad an objective "Kill the other team" is because after a certain point, you already know who won, you're just waiting.

Anyway, if you want to play an actually good game that is very different from Magic, @NullSignalGames has kept Netrunner alive despite WotC's best efforts. It's a wonderful game, deeply inclusive and a masterclass in asymmetrical design. Would love to teach.
