I like vanilla creatures; you like vanilla creatures, and this fella might see some play in the kinds of decks that currently run Gigantosaurus ๐ฆ. But there is a reason that WotC essentially never prints vanillas, and that Foundations is "the exception that proves the rule". .

I think I've found the single card that specifies the creation of the largest number of distinct tokens: Sarpadian Empires, Vol. VII, which describes 5. Can anyone top that? They don't have to be creatures, but they have to be specified -- it can't be, e.g., "a token copy".

There is actually a pair of cards with identical flavor text, except for quotation marks. (And the same cost, type, and ability. and the initials of the cardnames are both A.C.)
@mtg_ds It is wild how many times I had to read a few of these because my brain kept autocorrecring them to basic text. Also makes me think we've had cards with identical rules text but weren't the same card. And now I want to see repeat flavor text on differnt cards.

You know how some folks have built Commander decks where the gimmick is "player-hostile mechanics", and include every type of fiddly/outside-the-game mechanic, like Dungeons, Initiative, the monarch, DFCs, Ring tempting, etc?. Those decks should run this cycle of etched Basics.
