I'm waiting for my VA claim decision and have been for months.....called the VA and was told that there is a backlog and there's nothing that can be done other than just wait. I'm not sure throwing more money at the VA would solve the backlog problem, but sending it overseas

This exact thing happened to me. I would have never thought that my "mother" was abusing me. I thought she had a really messed up way of showing her love. At 42 years old it really did tear my world apart to SEE the truth. I am slowly rebuilding and sorting through the mess.

My mother has painted me as overly sensitive for decades, and I did start to believe it myself. I truly believe she was trying to drive me to kill myself or have a mental breakdown. Thankfully, I know now that I'm strong and not overly sensitive 💪 ❤️

My mom used to lock me out of the house..I'd go tell the neighbors. They'd call the cops. She told them I was lying and after that she got away with it over and over.. She made sure to bring up this story to me to laugh at me repeatedly as an adult.

Not true. My husband found many ways he could help with our babies. Diapers..food... I pumped and then he could give them a bottle of milk. He got up in the middle of the night and rocked them back to sleep unless of course they were hungry, and then I got up. It's always good

Your post brought me to tears. It hurts to know this is true. I wanted to end my life so many times, and deep down, I knew my narc mom wouldn't care. When I stood up for myself after 40 years of abuse she told the rest of the family I was crazy. Thankfully, I'm healing after NC.

This was actually the advice of my grandmother when I was 16. She said no baby talk and read to them every night, which we still do🥰 We never used baby talk with our three children and we often get comments from other parents about their vocabulary especially my two-year-old.

My experience is similar though I met my husband at 23 but due to infertility we couldn't have our first child until I was 35. Feminism has done far more damage to society than I feel most people realize, so you and I are more than likely the outliers.
