I think it's funny that while trads will foam about trans people, I know of a trans woman who attends an FSSP parish, and the priest knows she is trans. That priest is fine with her receiving communion, because her transitioning isn't a mortal sin.

The competition is 13 and over, with no discernable upper age limit, so by the rules, a 50 year old is allowed to compete. Even ignoring that the person identifies as trans, why is there no upper age limit? A 20 y.o. racing a 13 y.o. seems wildly unfair even if both are female.

This may be a controversial take, but IMO an ordained priest screwing a married women is significantly worse than two seminarians screwing each other, the former has a major power disparity and is violating his vow of celibacy.

Note, I think seminarians screwing each other is also inappropriate and raises serious questions about their capacity to observe vows of celibacy as priests, it is just that it isn't inherently abusive and exploitative in the way an ordained priest screwing a lay woman is.

Many who go along to get along see trans ideology as a bit crazy, but ultimately harmless.
The truth is that it is not harmless at all.
