Diet also matters. I lift 5-6x weekly and I’m teeny tiny. I used to carry much more muscle mass, but needle doesn’t seem to move these days. I also walk 15k steps daily and do Barry’s.
Maybe we aren’t eating enough to “look strong”?

I failed a year of undergrad at a smaller, unranked school. I applied to Johns Hopkins graduate school for a science program. I wrote the dean of admissions and asked if she would hear my story and view me as an individual rather than a transcript.
Graduated with a 4.0!
A friend of mine from law school applied on transfer to Duke (a top-10 school) after his first year at a lower-ranked law school with worse employment statistics.
Transferring law schools is rare and Duke only takes a handful of transfers each year.
Duke denied his application.

I lived there for two years in Fells bc I went to JHU. I wasn’t fond of Baldimore. However, I agree. Felt like he picked the same crummy spots. Of course he never chose Harbor East.
