My second husband refused to hold his daughter if she cried. A week after she was born I went on a quick trip to the store and when I returned less than 30 minutes later she was in the swing going full speed and screaming. I never left her with him again.

I had mental health issues that were pretty severe and he bailed out on me 4 times during the 80’s and again after I had a relapse. I was made to be the bad guy. I left the relationship broke with no marketable skill and no support.

My best friend left the planet on January 16. We were friends for 50 years. Cherish your time together and make lots more memories. I’m still grieving her loss but I’m comforted often by the memories of our time together. Now she lives in my heart ❤️

I’m white and I’m okay with this. I’ve confronted people who have used the word in front of me. I’m not able to kick any butt anymore but I can still scream at someone who uses the word at the top of my lungs. I really wish more white people would do the same.

For 14 years I raised my youngest daughter on my own and I availed myself of toy drives every year for her. Some of them were in Atlanta and I was never turned away or treated differently because I was white. Neither were multiple other white parents. M4L is lying.

Yes I took her to my brothers house and started over. Never saw him again except once at the courthouse when I got a restraining order. My girl is 23 now. I was messed up for years but I’m okay now.

It took me multiple attempts at escaping before I finally made it out. And he was in jail which gave me time to get out of the state. I have been struggling to survive ever since. Homelessness and domestic violence are very much connected.
