Still thinking about the tweet I read yesterday about a custody battle over Covid protections. Mom wanted to mask, etc. Dad did not, sued and won. Mom had to comply or lose custody. Kids now have brain damage and seizures from Covid infections.

Anecdotally, metformin seems to be giving me some spoons back. This week I: got vaxxed, fixed a tire, went to the dentist and took a shower. If you have long covid you owe it to yourself to try it. If you can’t find a friendly doc then order from overseas or try berberine.

Considering becoming a pro-masking troll. I’ll comment on every picture asking “why aren’t you masked?” Or if they describe their vacation, “masked?” Dunno if it would do any good but the anti-vax trolls seem to get some satisfaction out of it so maybe I can too?

The immune system isn’t a muscle needing exercise. It’s an army, with soldiers that can’t be swiftly replaced. The body isn’t a temple, it’s a battlefield. After repeat infections, it looks like Gaza. Worry less about your country’s borders and more about your body’s borders.

The reason there’s only about 10% of us seeing the pandemic for what it is, is because that’s an optimal cost/benefit ratio, evolutionarily speaking. There’s a cost to being aware, and in normal times the head in the sand crowd comes out better off.
