The Sunday Times reports Sue Gray has privately met Tony Blair for talks over a Labour govt’s policy agenda.
Meanwhile Starmer is hiring Blair’s chief home affairs adviser…
We are about to see an unprecedented corporate takeover in U.K. politics.
I've joined the Libreal Democrats.
They are far more progressive and left-wing than Starmers Labour Party.
Plus, the LibDems support:

• A written constitution✅️
• The legalisation of cannabis✅️
• An elected Second Chamber✅️
So what results do you get if you ask Sir Humphrey's polling questions?
@IpsosUK
decided to try it. We showed 1,000 Brits his pro national service poll and 1,000 his anti national service poll. Results:
Sample A: 45% in favour of national service, 38% say no.
Sample B: 48%

on a crowded train (lovely person), and she was passionate about the local area; saying how it is good for an MP to have that local experience - I.e. before they become ministers or shadow ministers.
It must really irritate Jacob Young that, unlike him, I live & work in the constituency & that I’ve been elected by Redcar Labour members over & over again in the last 12 years to be their candidate, for him to have to lie on his leaflet.

Those calling for a teen social media ban in light of Brianna Ghey’s murder forget social media was a huge point of light in Brianna’s life - full of friends & love.
By contrast her killers were not big on social media. They communicated by text & accessed the unsocial dark web.

You'll also notice there was a lot of song an dance when sunak's ratings were competitive with starmer's, but it's not really clicked yet that starmer's lead over sunak is now bigger than labour's lead!
And sunak is now disliked more than johnson at his nadir.
@APHClarkson
I just found out that Mitsotakis came to london, I was under the impression Sunak was meant to go there. Extraordinarily petulant to not meet a head of state visiting the UK.
nothing but utter contempt for the people obviously having a fun time right now going "hmmm but did you know what Navalny stood for? :)", especially from the left, how can you go through life feeling to need to always be edgy, who doesn't leave that stuff behind at roughly 17

🚨BREAKING: Rishi Sunak to give a press conference at 4:45PM
"This was not the outcome we wanted, but we have spent the last few months planning for all eventualities and we remain completely committed to stopping the boats."

@gregorybelton
No we don't, we were denied that due to the ups and downs of the Royal family's skirmishes over the centuries.
We do have a very strong and specific culture however and the West Lothian question still stands.
@lottelydia
He's not saying 'vote labour' (which would be bad enough imo). He's making a very controversial statement, egging on protesters. It might be perceived as violent towards jewish people.
@ElectoralCringe
Sorry, but this doesn't count, he was referring to a situation where sunak is removed, which obviously would be different to sunak is saying.
This is sensationalist nonsense, no other words for it.

Exceeds expectations, undergone many regenerations, still needs some work doing, a lovely mix of old and new ideas, very stylish.
Let’s out all these Tory MPs who seem to spend little time in Parliament and let down their constituents, since that seems to be the game of the day.

Con 20%
LD 9%
Green 8%
Reform 8%
Lowest Tory % ever recorded in an Ipsos poll going back to the start of their regular polling in 1978.

Feeling lucky for having survived, he went on and bought a

As a Gen Z male, I can completely see this. I think the Internet is to blame, largely. (I realise this is blamed for a lot of things, but really).

Not necessarily though. A Kate Forbes leadership could presumably limp to 2026 supported by Alba on confidence, and other parties on a vote-by-vote basis.
