@grantshapps
Lies unions have not prevented anyone working their days off. Reckless endangerment of drivers by both the minister and company if anyone is assaulted or abused because of this gross misinformation we will respond legally and otherwise
@Mark_J_Harper
A traditional lunch paid for by the individuals on a non strike day-is hardly anywhere on the same scale as partygate breaking the law whilst people died

@grantshapps
I see you have been lying on the Telegraph we do not work for the taxpayer but 14 private companies making hundreds of millions from the dubious deal you have done with them come clean

Having a strange day find out about an offer via the press when those who sent it had been told that I was unavailable this afternoon so knew it was unlikely to be picked up? First knowledge is when our media people asked for comments in response to questions from the press.
2/ so after we get to no rise for five years this year for some it will be better than RPI and some less depending on the anniversary date. Glad to be talking to real politicians who want real solutions rather than those only interested in the top 1%.
Only Lithuania has worse trade union laws that the UK what price the right to vote and protest. Democracy is only as strong as the rights of the weakest
To the young woman who asked for help in Kilburn the stole my 80 year old mums purse she wishes you well and hopes you really need the money, obviously a better person then I can be at the moment!
@grantshapps
What archaic rules from 1919 obviously flexible rostering was forced on the industry in 1982 more idiocy and incompetence do need lessons on anything else if this is the extent of your knowledge
@CPhilpOfficial
Highest tax and borrowing govt of all time discounting covid (handled badly) borrowed more than all previous governments added together in history you were inept or negligent happy to debate and prove in person. Up for it?
1/Just to put in context all those misleading statements and comments by Tory MP’s and media who really could pretend to journalism. We did not seek pay for the two years of covid the next two years where they wasted billion in their political dispute we take a real terms cut.
Apparently Grant Shapps is going to deal with high earners impacting on low earners to stop them causing strife. I’m glad he is going to deal with the CEO’s and himself. That’s all we want?
If the Transport Minister is on LBC tomorrow I suggest the public all ring in and ask why we have had 18 months of lies and deceit happy to go on TV with him and demonstrate the truth
#whereswally
Mr Merriman deliberately misleading the public each company has an establishment calculator that is meant to encompass all requirement’s including training and succession planning without the requirement for overtime.
Those conflating and and pretending to be press please refer to the evidence given to the Transport Select Committee by the the Minister where admitted the billions they had cost the tax payer and resolving the dispute would have cost 1/7th proud of every member

@FinnBrennan
Is it true there was a manager driving the train with limited competency who lost the pan and was less than forthcoming a sacking offence for a driver and an unauthorised person in the cab, asking for a friend?
@Mark_J_Harper
Having explained continually it is the policy made by our members democratically that we do not ballot on crap that we do not recommend. By the way when were these mythical meetings?
@DavidLammy
That’s not what you said “a party that wants to be in government should not take sides” will I see you out with other TU’s on picket lines?
@ShropsP
@AvantiWestCoast
I would like it deleted as it may lead to violence or verbal abuse of train drivers and it is irresponsible for any employer to put their staff at risk
Let’s not forget when John Major forced through privatisation of the railways he said competition would drive down fares. Obviously twenty years on it has not worked time not to blame the workers but time to change the model.
