Well said. Our boys lives were so much safer and hopefully nicer when they had their feeding tubes fitted. But We were so sad when our eldest aged 4 was recommended a gastrostomy, he loved food (chocolate buttons) but still occasionally had a lick.
@criminographer
Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry to read this. How heartbreaking.
Our 2 sons died aged 10 and 12, so although I cannot know how you are feeling I can relate to the devastation. Xx
@JBsTwoCents
@Noly573962
Lissencephaly is not to be sneared at. Go with it. Her life is not what you expected. Our boys had a rare (undiagnosed) disease diagnosed post mortem. It's really bloody tough. Sending strength
@rowancoleman
I met my husband 1 month after I was 17, in a local nightclub ( cinderella rockerfella) and we have been married 27.4 years, together 31y. We have survived a lot of loss and sadness including the death of our 2 sons who had a degenerative neurological disorder similar to MND.
@Andy_Wheatley
Thinking of you and yours today. Both our sons died 1st thing in the morning too. Neither wanted to go 😢. It's been 14 years in December Harry died (would be 26 in Aug) and 20 years in December since Tom died. He would be 30 in September. Xxxx
@CruzKayne
Sending you love. That was a brave thread. We lost our eldest son, aged 10, 15years ago in December and our youngest son, aged 12, 9 years ago in December. We need to talk about them and keep remembering them.
@shitscaredmum
Caring for your very poorly child (I know she isn't child but she is your child) is so so tough. We have sadly been through it twice with our sons. We were fortunate to be supported by our local hospital when our eldest died, and a fab hospice when our youngest died. Love to u
@BBCRadio2
Really, really sorry that
@simonmayo
is leaving
@BBCRadio2
. What a complete mess you've made
@BBCRadio2
losing such a great broadcaster. You should have listened to the public when we all told you we didn't like the new partnership.
@claremackint0sh
My mum, my dad and my son Tom. I'd like them to know all about
@ThomassFund
and all the things I've done since they died. Tom would be so proud to know he was such an inspiration and my mum and dad would just be so proud, my dad especially because he loved music.

Susannah Reid, Victoria Frizt. Both journalists, both queued. Sorry it was wrong, and people do not like it. The perception is that they are better than the people who watch their show.
We had to say a final goodbye to our wonderful 4 legged friend yesterday. He was the best you could get. He will be missed so much, but we were so lucky to have him since he was 10 weeks until he was 16 and a half.
@menysnoweballes
The reason they couldn't kill themselves is because they weren't suicidal. That's the reason why. So sorry you have to go through not only the loss but have to put up with these stupid attitudes too. X
@KirstieMAllsopp
@RachelReevesMP
We don't even call it downsizing. We have moved from a much too big house to a smaller bungalow. We call it "rightsizing".
@poornabell
It does take time. This year is the first year in all honesty that I am truly looking forward to it. It's been almost 17 years and 11 years ( dec 13 2004 and dec 17 2010) since our young sons died aged 10 and 12. Sending love.
@MarginMister
@DrAdrianHarrop
As you haven't been in that position you cannot know. I have with my 2 boys. We wanted them to be comfortable and not in pain. Sadly we aren't all able to live long healthy lives so need to make the very best of what we do have.
@insteppfitness
@RevRichardColes
It honestly gets easier. They were both profoundly disabled and adulthood would have been so tough for them. Their bodies just weren't designed for a long life. We cope because they had such full and fulfilling lives during their short time on this earth.xx
📻 Radio 2 has a new sound for 2019! 📻
We are delighted to announce that

She will be live every weekday from 5-7pm with fun-filled chat, brilliant music, and all of your stories from the day.

I was exactly the same after our eldest son died. When we left hospital when he died, it was Christmas and everything was still Christmassy. How couldn't they know
@GaryScribbler
@UKSepsisTrust
Sending love. Yesterday would have been our sons 26th birthday, he only managed 10 and tomorrow it's our 28th wedding anniversary. Xx
@jowhiley
Why, just why would you write that. If you're not keen do it but don't tell the person, that's just rude. Let's not live our lives on social media.
My Book club met on zoom last night to talk about I Wanted You To Know and we had the honour of the author
@LauraPAuthor
attending our meeting. It was absolutely wonderful and Laura was so engaging and everyone asked such fantastic questions. We all recommend the book, v moving.
@Danwhite1972
@LBC
Our boys lives were cut extremely short with a degenerative disease which meant they were severely disabled. Their lives were as comfy as we could make them but I'm sure they would have wished to be born "un" disabled
Well done
@BBCCiN
and
@BBCCountryfile
on a superb film with Josh. Please donate to

and help people like Josh ( and others like our boys who were very lucky to have had support from this charity.)
@ThomassFund
is a very lucky recipient too.
Thanks X

hi Orla. Please tell your fans that eurosport 1 is now on 413 on sky, as my mates went to 410 and thought we had lost the cycling and the breakaway!

We had the gas fire, was so warm, I think I spent my childhood lying in front of it, my gran had the electric version, rubbish compared to the gas one.

Our estate agent was going to arrange our energy rating company at a cost of about £200
, we arranged it ourselves, cost £70 ish. Told tfe agent this and he pretended to be surprised.
So today we arrived in Penzance, we rode down to Lands End and got all our photos, rode back from LE to officially start our 1027m

for
@ThomassFund
£10270 £10 per mile.
When we got married 29 years ago I never imagined I would be riding 100+ miles on a tandem to celebrate! What my mum would say, I really don't know.
Lovely ride to St.Ives in Cambs with lots of food and refreshment stops.
Happy Anniversary Timothy ❤
@brianspong1
If they do redistribute to the homeless, why do they not have an area where the tents can be unpitched for collection by charities. We were always taught to leave nothing behind but footsteps.
@SJ_Watson
And that was from a supposedly Christian person. Most awful man. I saw him at Chelsea Flower show and was there with a charity garden. We called him and he turned around and gave a dirty look and walked on. No other celeb was like that.
We held our book club xmas bash at our house last night
20 guests, 2 party games and a lucky dip preloved book. 5 course sit down dinner. Shattered now but such a fab evening!
@JeremyClarkson
JC is like a child, purely seeking attention from whatever means he can. He knows he will get a rise from it. Maybe we should do with him what we do with small children; ignore the bad behaviour
@BeingBoycie
Hope you settle well in your new home. We have also left our family home last week, the home our son loved but who died when he was 12. Its hard to leave but new things lie ahead for us. Xx
@clarebalding
2. Harry and Benji were best friends until Harry's death aged 12. After the loss of Harry, Benji couldn't understand where he had gone. However Benji gave us the reason to carry on. He is now 15 and elderly and still an adorable terrier.
@KirstieMAllsopp
Had mine aged 23 and 27. We already had a beautiful little home when our 1st was born, and moved up the ladder before the 2nd son was born. So glad we did it young because both boys were severely physically disabled. Sadly their disease meant their lives were short (10 &12 yrs)
