y'all really got no idea how gentrification works huh? The house that renovated drove up property taxes on the houses next to them, increasing the peoples' monthly mortgage. This pushes poor people out of their homes, despite being there before the renovators.

acid rain is not what they're referring to. They're referring to the report that PFAS (forever) chemicals are in rainwater.
And the cause of acid rain, SO2, is not comparable to PFAS. Trees can sequester SO2. Nothing can breakdown PFAS - they are indeed forever and toxic.

I can answer this (I think.) Tap water is filtered but essential minerals (i.e. magnesium, calcium) are added back in. Water that has no minerals and is completely purified is distilled water. There's some debate that it's unsafe to drink, but I can't answer to that.

I've seen the first one out in the wild (Camp Rd, Hamburg, NY right once you get off I-90.) In the scenario I saw, you take the jug handle if you're turning right only. You dodge the light at the intersection and just have to yield to any traffic, otherwise you just keep going.

CO2 emissions from 2020 vs. 2019 did fall, albeit slightly. However, the OVERALL CO2 content in the atmosphere rose because it takes centuries for CO2 to fall out. CO2 from the 1950s is still in the air. We still emitted in 2020.
